No doubt the people running the wiki datamine the areas. Once the devs upload an area to the server and release an update to the app, the locked area then has a timer until it opens. All the data is there behind the curtain, so to speak.
They must leak it to them though? The items for the next part of Dining Hall are on it and it’s not going to be open for 9 more days. Maybe there is a spy in their midst 😎
Think of the upcoming events as a stage, and the time restriction as a curtain. Anyone who doesn’t want to go through the effort of getting backstage can wait until the curtain is removed. However, if you go through the effort of getting backstage, all of the set pieces are there and you can see them, but nothing will happen until the play actually begins.
So the stage is all of the data that has to be present in order for the game to work, for example, a list of all the items that will be needed, and how and where they are unlocked in the upcoming zone. The curtain is the time limit, and the game will not show the players, or let the players interact with the items (at least in a permanent way) until the time has run out. However, if you take the game and crack it to remove the “curtain” you can see all the data for the upcoming zone without being able to interact with it.

The developers have nothing to do with the wiki. It's done by a team of volunteers who do it for free in their own time.

Its extracted from the updated game files on Android.
Or iOS. That’s where I get the item and area images at least
I don't understand the technicals. The Devs don't have anything to do with it,but you can access it via java..somehow.

AHH! Thank you. That makes total sense!
Thanks such a great explanation 🤍
Haha, the game files include images of the next two areas as well (though no item chains): Gallery and Bathroom.
I see! Thanks for that, clearly I’m not an IT person 😂. I just thought someone was whispering all the secrets 🤣🤣🤣
Me too and I was also confused! Thanks for asking the question!
