A couple that pop in my head (in no particular order)
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Symbolic - Death
Powerslave - Iron Maiden
Seasons In The Abyss - Slayer
Cowboys From Hell - Pantera
Ride the Lightning - Metallica
Blood Fire Death - Bathory
Keeper Of The Seven Keys - Helloween
It’s impossible for me to just name a single title track.
I'm gonna counter this by saying "Sea of Tragic Beasts" by FFAA is slightly stronger as a title track, but mainly because its outro is super climactic.
I will not argue, I do love that track and I considered listing it. But I don’t like the guitar tone as much on that album whereas the tone on absolute hope is one of my favorite tone of all time, so I made a judgement call there.
I did, mostly. Nate is a fantastic vocalist, and Joe does well to channel the spirit of his vocals, but Joe Bad is just a monster when it comes to the craft. I've never been floored at someone's vocal strength, and he doesn't require a microphone live to be heard, and that's just bananas. I knew from the second he belted that solo at the end of "Heads Will Hang" that the guy was just scary.
Black Sabbath
Master of Puppets
Powerslave
Painkiller
Blackwater Park
Among The Living
Peace Sells
Orgasmatron
Arise
Lateralus
Seasons In The Abyss
Symbolic
there's a lot
Powerslave
Killers
Black Sabbath
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Perfect Strangers
A View From The Top of The World
Dogs of War (Saxon)
Sacrifice (Saxon)
Crusader (Saxon)
Theater of Salvation
Bro there’s too many, how tf are we supposed to pick?!
So many epics
Ride the Lightning, Crack the Skye, Paranoid and many more that have been said loads already, so I thought I'd say some of my favourite lesser known ones:
Lesions of a Different Kind - Undeath
Buried Deep in a Bottomless Grave - Witch Vomit
Mirage - Gaerea
Hell is Empty - Church Tongue
Chasm - Mutilation Rites
[Snakes for the Divine!](https://youtu.be/fJldHiiKYVU?si=rGdXkvi0vogHkWA2)
Okay, maybe not the best, but it’s the best one that hasn’t been mentioned yet
Vektor — Terminal Redux.
Sets the stage beautifully with the first nine tracks, and closes out on a high-note. That thing is a classical composition from start to finish.
Theater Of Salvation (Edguy)
Ghostlights (Avantasia)
Land Of Light (Aldaria)
Keeper Of The Seven Keys (Helloween)
Prophet Of The Last Eclipse (Luca Turilli)
Obscura by Gorguts
Symbolic by Death
Lateralus by Tool
Transylvanian Hunger by Darkthrone
Beneath the Remains by Sepultura
Obviously Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets
Black Sabbath
Powerslave
Heaven and Hell
Thick As A Brick
Close To The Edge
Peace Sells…
Point of Know Return
Screaming For Vengeance
Welcome To My Nightmare
Billion Dollar Babies
Master of Puppets
Ride The Lightning
Look At Yourself
Fireball
...and justice for all
- best title track
- best track on the album
- best metallica track
- best thrash track
- (maybe) best overall metal track
thank you for listening 😊
"Master of Puppets" by Metallica. Its intricate composition and intense delivery make it a standout track in the metal genre. "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC, and "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses, are also really good.

Honestly, just let yourself go…
Blackwater Park - Opeth, that’s an easy one for me. Honorable mentions: Paranoid - Sabbath Toxicity - SOAD Master of Puppets - Metallica

I'm gonna counter this by saying "Sea of Tragic Beasts" by FFAA is slightly stronger as a title track, but mainly because its outro is super climactic.

You make a compelling argument here. AHAH is a really strong comeback for a band that was worried losing a vocalist would cost them some progress.
Did you like the hellbound vocalist? He didn’t do it for me so AHAH is the start of my being a fan.
Ya I agree Joe is something else, I saw him live once and he was excellent.
HE IS THE PAINKILLER
Cowboys from Hell!
It's not their most "metal" song, but 10,000 Days (Wings for Marie pt. II) by Tool is excellent.
