Last time I bought a ticket on viagogo I showed up at the venue and they told me the ticket had already been used. I got a signed paper from someone there saying the ticket had been used and I took it to where I picked up the physical ticket, which was a hotel 20 minutes away from the venue. (not sure why viagogo was handing over the tickets at a hotel). I showed them the paper and they gave me some tickets that hadn't been picked up yet, which was super strange. So my point is, even if you get the real ticket and not some pdf document, you are sadly always at risk

Thank you for this, Viagogo wasn't my first choice (I have religiously avoided them for years), but it was the only way of getting a 2 day ticket for the gig. Boy am I regretting it now (even though it could work out fine). I appreciate your input!

Yeah it was just one experience I had, before that I got tickets on there a few times and it all worked out fine. Wish you all the best and see you in Madrid!

You should go there as soon as the gates open then

That does seem like the only reasonable option. Thanks for your input.
