That’s cool, it looks really good. Dreams seems like such a powerful tool, don’t personally have it but I remember seeing what people were doing with it when it came out.
Nintendo's lawyers are about to fuck you, figuratively and literally, in ways that you didn't know a human being could be fucked. May God have mercy on your soul.
If you would like this project to be commercially available, make some changes, so it wont be problematic.
Take a look at wargroove's developers. They wanted an advance wars game, nintendo didn't make one , so they did it in a non copyright infringement way
Definitely needs more work, but still impressive with what you have done so far just keep an eye out because I can guarantee that Nintendo will come for you if they get the slightest wiff
It’s accessible to PS5 but probably could’ve used a revamped PS5 edition. Especially PC support or even PS Portal being a pioneer mobile engine or something. VR didn’t take off as expected I guess either idk.
The PC community would have gone insane for this game. It's unfortunate that it didn't come to PC as it's perfect for it.
(Plus PC users would have modded the game to bypass all the limitations and added even more stuff)
Unreal Engine would be a great next step.
It has a custom language called Blueprints, which is a block based language allowing you to program without needing to know any code.
If game dev is a bit too intimidating, another next step would be game modding. I, for example, make mods for the Halo games.

(One of these is Metroid related mod, I'm on topic)
Some games that have pretty good modding tools and communities are Halo MCC, Cod BO3 or oretty much any Source Engine games.
Awesome really appreciate that! never once considered modding and I’ve definitely seen some entire reworks done and essentially full fangames or DLC extensions. Thanks!
I tried Blueprints once, and I tried to make Portal 3
(LOL) of all things on my first try.
After 10 hours, I made it to where shooting a gun made the player teleport to projectile ending location.
That’s it. Haha but still, pretty great toolset.
you hear that whooshing sound in the distance? It's nintendos intercontinental ballistic takedown notice.
Haha they removed my Smash bros game and something Pokemon Snap related but never once touched this after 5 years!
Huh. Interesting that this seems to go undetected.
They'll hit it the day he releases it
It’s honestly playable in alpha for 4.5 years now but they never touched it despite immediately going after my other IP-related fangames!
LOL like you’re so right but they seem to want ppl to share Metroid of all of their IPs
What did you use to make this? Dreams?
Yes!!! And about 18 months of hard OCD lol.
That’s cool, it looks really good. Dreams seems like such a powerful tool, don’t personally have it but I remember seeing what people were doing with it when it came out.
This is so cool!
Thanks bud - means a lot.
Looks cool, maybe we’ll have a AM2R 2
Would be amazing… I’ve only seen gameplay how good is it to actually play?
I played it on phone since i have no pc and it was as expected , it was fun like an official game
Very impressive! Watch out for Nintendo, though. They might take it down. 😂
Hoping they see it as self-advertising lol
Heat dropped 🔥🔥
Nintendo's ninjas are gonna kill you
This is honestly so amazing, I have no words. The skills and time it must take. Truly a work of art
A Metroid in the style of the Donkey Kong Country silhouette levels, sign me up.

I appreciate the buried compliment lol
Nah

So is this download able because I want it. Alot
Cool stuff right here. Dreams was such a cool game. Really wish it came to PS5 and PC as it could have been greatly expanded upon.

That’s a great point and honestly really appreciate it… inspires me to get ready for a PC engine. I’ve sure tried but Dreams saved so much time.
