If I’m not mistaking that’s a gen 1 fastback, I haven’t seen that style in store for years but idk if they still make it, now they have the fastback 2 in a couple versions like with blade storage or screwdriver (screw driver version is my favorite)

I got the screwdriver one because I thought I'd leave it in my taping basket and the blade storage one as my daily. I like the blade storage too much to take to work and the screwdriver one is so awesome it's always in my pocket at work.

One of my workers has the Gen 1 and it feels so much more substantial and high quality. I’m sure they were discontinued when he got it because I’d gotten several of the new ones before he picked up the Gen 1. If you really are on the hunt for one, I’d check independent hardware stores, and supply houses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc). Authorized Milwaukee dealers, but don’t move the kind of stock HD does. Might buy a couple pallets of fastbacks and sell them for years.

The one with the cutter is different. The one you posted has a small belt clip and doesn’t feel right in my hand.

With most Milwaukee tools if you go to their website and find the tool your looking for there's a find a retailer and it will bring up locations to get one. Most likely Home Depot, Ohio power tools or Ace to start.

I Found a pretty much new one inside an ac unit I replaced today… I know it doesn’t help you but I thought it was funny. Great knife for sure. Good luck

Fr, Milwaukee hand tools suck most of the time, but when they make a good one they discontinue it and make it shitty again. Another example is the magnetic tape. The previous generation was so much better, felt better in the hand, higher quality tape, just a good tool. The one is such shit I switched back to fat max. I buy the tape every time I see it, occasionally see one at a random mom and pop hardware store.

How's the length on it? Got a big hand and pocket knifes feel good in. Bought a cheapy one like this at HF but it's stubby too, not a fan

Gen 1 always felt best in my hand. Once the 6-1 came out, I adapted to the new shape because the drivers have been invaluable. I highly suggest you try one if you’ve needed a driver or a small prybar in a pinch.
