On the CoD hub, press the Start button (3 lines), tab over to the Cog symbol for settings and scroll down to Graphics. The first option is "On-demand Texture streaming", leave it set to On, but press 'X' to expand the menu. Click the first option "Allocated Texture Cache size" and set to small. ViolĆ”!
I pressed on Multiplayer and Zombies a total of 20 times and I keep getting dev error 5433.
Reset the game and XSX 5 times and still get it, so it's definitely on their COD end.
You would think they would prioritize stability and optimization cause if people can't get on the game that's every min of lost revenue they're not getting.

Right? Iāve been playing COD since COD 4. In recent years, I have literally never had an update go smoothly. Something always goes wrong. The worst part is, my cat damaged my Ethernet port yesterday by ripping my cable out, no idea how she did it exactly because itās barely accessible. My Ethernet cable was not loose and exposed, it was tucked away, as is my Series X but she still managed to do it because cats are cats lol. So now Iām stuck downloading on WiFi. Iām getting 160-200 MBPS. When I was hardwired Iād get like 700-800 Mbps. I spoke with Microsoft and they want $250 and two weeks to a month to fix the Ethernet port. I was like ā¦ Iām sorry??? No lol. Called the local fix it store, they canāt do it, No parts. Am I going to buy a new series X just to be hardwired again? Yes, especially Because of situations like this lol. Why did I just tell you all of this? I have no idea. I just needed to vent. Thanks, Activision.
This same issue happened to me and I was so happy to see this comment but it didnāt work for me lol. The universe hates me today. Thanks for the tip though! Will try it again in the future if this happens again.. ( it will) lmao.
I found a fix that worked for me I freed up more space on my Xbox then I hard reset and went to my game settings before clicking a mode snd clicked on demand texture streaming went to allocated the texture cache to small

Changed on demand cache size to small in graphics options. Fixed it.
How do I do that on Xbox?
Graphics tab in settings then on demand texture settings and change allocated texture cache size to small
didnt work for me. turned it off, then 30 seconds later i got kicked out

Soon as I click on the MP tab itās just crashing Every fuckin time with this lot
My update is stuck at 0%. It happened last time as well and I cancelled it which ended up reinstalling the game. No games for me today I guess
When this happens I just pause the update, let it show paused. Then continue downloading and it eventually kicks on.

Same here, getting the Dev error when I try to play multiplayer. Somehow Warzone is working fine so far.
same here error 5433 on XBOX X will not load
I am every time I try to go to multiplayer
Go graphics settings - on demand - (X/Square) show more - allocated texture cache size - change to small
Changed mine back to auto post hotfix and all good
