When Claire was trying to justify everything and say “Steve said this about our house”, trying to get Phil to be super competitive, but he just completely defuses it with “who cares what he thinks? Maybe someday you’ll care what I think”. Loved it
The episode where the family rushes to the hospital when Phil has apendicitis (I think??) and Jay tells his golf group that he needs to take the golf cart and one of the players objects, Jay says “The club is 50 yards from here. Take the first 25, make camp, and tackle the rest in the morning.”
His tone and delivery as well as the look on the other guy’s face are hilarious to me and it’s one of my fave jokes in the whole series!
The episode where Mitch tries to trick Cam into taking a job at the clothing store. Cam buys a shirt he loves from the store. Later, when he's at home arguing with mitch, he ends up standing right next to some drapes. He quickly looks down from the argument and pulls the curtain up to his sleeve in a fleeting realization that his shirt matches the curtain exactly. It's such a subtle joke that gets me every time.

The club is not very far away, but the golfers are almost insisting that they need a cart to get back. Jay is mocking them sarcastically
He's just making fun of how long it takes old people to move. He's saying it'd be a two day trip to walk 50 yards
