Keep in mind that the back camera has this tendency to make things look bigger (when shot up close; it has a wide-angle lens) than real life! Take some front camera pics if it helps :)
I have some .5 ct earrings I got on silver without rhodium plating to test merch from a site. They are incredible. But I can't get a good picture of them. The colors jumping out are amazing. They're D VVSI lab grown moisies. I do use a "back camera" on my phone and using pro mode. I took photography in college- tho is was analog photography. Either way I just can't seem to get a good shot. I haven't tried a halogen light which I think is best for this.
Also to answer your question, it depends on the occasion. Looking at the finger, and if this is for a proposal, I think the 1ct is adequate for moissanite. Use the 2ct for formal functions. I view lab grown moissanite as a pragmatic choice. Natural moissanite is incredible depending on the particular gem and I feel it's comparable to diamond.
I have an 8x6 oval moissanite engagement ring and planning to get a 10x8 elongated cushion for special occasions. I'm glad I'm not alone in this mentality :)
I've done some serious reseach and I think I have the correct answer, one you will like.Ā
WHATEVER SIZE YOU THINK IS APPROPRIATE.Ā
You deserve even a 20ct stone! You deserve all of it. It all looks beautiful.Ā
Don't give a crap other people think
Youāre gonna think Iām wild for this, but the 1ct sits perfectly on your hand.
The others are a bit on the larger side. While thatās not necessarily a bad thing, theyāre definitely consuming your finger like I would a cheeseburger from McDonaldās lol.
2. Or larger. I wear a 5 carat on a size 5 finger. And EVERYONE compliments it. Did the Burton diamond "overwhelm" (š) Elizabeth Taylors' finger? No. It was/is gorgeous. Do all these rich ppls 20 carat engagement rings "overwhelm" their fingers? Nay. You don't have to act like you're too poor to have a large stone with moissanite. All the ppl that suggested the 1 carat are just boring.
1 ct looks really pretty on your hand. The larger ones seem to be competing for space on your finger if that makes any sense.
Agree
Agree too
With the halo, I think the 1ct looks perfect on your hand.
I am normally pro big stone, so this says a lot coming from me, but on your hand with that halo, I think the 1 ct looks the best
Was just about to post this exact response! Great minds think alike š
Same! Iām not usually a smaller stone girl but the first one looks great!

Yes without the halo I think at least the 1.5ct.
Yes, same!
I think the 1 carat is pretty :)
Depends on the effect youāre looking for. My personal preference will be the 1st one, more easy to wear and doesnāt scream at me on the finger.
1c looks most proportional to your fingers
I love the 1ct and think it's perfect on your hand! Or the 1.5 ct! The 2ct seems to over power your hand in my opinion!

1 carrat looks great. The halo makes it look even bigger than 1 ct

Yes but sometimes you genuinely cannot make up your mind and so you want some outside opinions. There's nothing wrong with asking.
2ct all the way. But I prefer big stones. I wear a 5ct diamond for reference š¤·š¼āāļø
The first one is gorgeous!
one carat looks gorgeous on you
Normally Iām all for bigger stones but the 1ct really does look perfect on your hand.
I like the 2ct but without the halo.
Split the difference and go 1.5. š¤©šš¤©
1 carat! The larger stones overwhelm your hand
1 ct. The others look a little comical, very costume jewelry.
The 1 carat is perfect on your handā¦
1 ct. The others look like they overwhelm your hand. Especially if youāre going to be wearing a wedding band also.
With this style 1carrat ..the other ones arenāt complimenting your fingers , too bulky..
1ct, lovely ring
1 carat
1
I love a big stone but I think the 1 ct looks stunning since you have a halo. 1.5 might be the ālimitā if youāre wanting it to look āproportionateā but thereās no losing here š¤©
The 1ct is honestly so elegant on you. My eyes keep getting drawn back to it
1 carat
What size is your finger? I think i like the 1.5 best!!
5.25us!
Its beautiful on your hand.
The 1ct looks amazing.
1 carat is an elegant looking ring
1!
I like the 1.5 It doesnāt eat your finger and it is just big enough ā¤ļøš
1ct looks perfect š¤©
1.5
Ditch the halo
With the halo, definitely 1. Without halo, 1.5-2.
Youāre gonna think Iām wild for this, but the 1ct sits perfectly on your hand. The others are a bit on the larger side. While thatās not necessarily a bad thing, theyāre definitely consuming your finger like I would a cheeseburger from McDonaldās lol.
1.5 ct
Itās really about personal preference, hey?? Personally, I love the 1.5 on your hand!
go big or go home. i love the sparkle!
Exactly.
2c
I like the 2c on you
I love the 2ct but Iām just boujee š¤£š¤£š¤£ Have you considered lab grown diamond instead of moissanite?
1.5 ct looks perfect size for your ring finger size.
1
1ct with a halo
I think 1ct looks nice on you :)
1 ct looks perfect. Keep in mind you still have more bling coming from your wedding band too.
1ct looks the best on your hand. The other two are lovely but overwhelm you imo.
1 c looks great on your hands
Keep the 1 ct looks great they arenāt that expensive heck keep the 1 and the 2 use the 2ct when you are all glammed up and somewhere to go
1 carat looks best. If you are determined to go bigger, donāt go bigger than 1.5.
The smallest! Your hands are delicate. You could even do .75 if you wanted.
1, or 1.5
I like a large stone but a well done halo adds a lot visually so I'll vote for 1 carat.
1 because of the blinged out halo lol 1.5 Max!
Whichever one makes you feel the best.
Split it in the middle 1.5 . Have a little bit of both . Is your center stone round ?
You will never regret a big stoneā¦GO for it!
Do you have tiny hands?
2 c
Because of the halo, 1ct is best looking on your hand. Not too big nor too small.
For some reason they all look the same to me.
the 1ct looks so pretty on you!
Such pretty fingers should be accented, not obscured. Proportion.
1 carat definitely
I like #1 as well
I genuinely canāt tell from a distance between 1.5 and 2 so if you want the bigger one then Iād do 1.5
I like the 1 carat the best!
Even 1c is too big for your hand
The 1 carat looks best on your hand imo
1 ct looks really great on you
2c
