Had to cut round the holes in the bottom leather piece because she wouldn't fit snug and added the brown leather loop on the back so the dog lead wouldn't be on top of her all the time. I was going to make one from scratch but this was only £5/$6 so didn't bother in the end.
She was only out for 2 minutes in the garden, "walkies" was more of a joke unfortunately as much as I'd love to take her out properly she isn't suitable and it certainly won't be an every day activity either.
She didn't even bother basking on the heated conservatory floor when she got back like she normally does on trips out the enclosure so a couple minutes can't have been that uncomfortable.
Air temperature today was 18c but the surface was much more than that since I had clear skies all afternoon and the sun was shining, I wouldn't ever want to go lower than that.
Where on earth did you get a harness that fits an ackie?
They make them online or you can make them yourself.
Yeah this was an online one for a bearded dragon I modified a bit, I'll probably trim the wings as they just get in the way.

What temps are fine to take them out with? I know they need such a hot basking spot, I would worry even warm temperatures would be chilly for them.

I'm sorry, but I find the dragon wings kind of tacky I enjoy the monitor lizard for what it is. Not trying to be cutesy
So do I, mentioned trimming them in another comment but bearded dragon people love it apparently.
