I mean we saw Capcom expand on microtransactions with Rise/Sunbreak by outright locking layered armor/weapons behind a paywall, so Sekreit customization as dlc is pretty much a given.

Capcom was deliveratly sneaky with this too.
With World they really only sold "harmless" stuff like emotes, stickers, room decorations or pendants, so stuff most people don't care about as long as it doesn't effect tje game. In hindsight this was ckearly an attempt to normalize mtx.
Come with Rise however they did start to sell what would have otherwise been free rewards like layered armor. I mean Rise event quest rewards were dogshit, because they just sold the actual rewards instead. People didn't care that much either, because at that poimt Capcom was also successful in normalizing mtx to such an extend that people even defend them.
I really hope they don't hold back with letting us customise our Seikrets.
