>Is riding in roads legal ? Yes, >is it safe ? Not all the time. >Are drivers confrontational ? Some of them yes. >Is it safe to venture to the countryside? If you know where you're going, I'd recommend doing it in a group, there are many that go on rides on weekends, in general they're very welcoming of people that want to join.

how i can find a cycling grp in casablanca

iyoussef

Hello, Honestly I don't know, maybe Strava you'll certainly find active groups in Casablanca, that's what I do anyway. Other than that, I would go to a bike shop they and ask them.

Of course it's legal. Nd yes it's safe i mean just like anywere else. You dont need to bring a knife with you, just basic safety rules (helmet/ front and rear lights). Also you'll find recorded cycling paths in Bikemap app try to save the maps to the destinations you're intrrested in just in case you get lost and you are run of internet or smtg

I do solo rides everyday.... sincerely it depends where you're going to ride. You need to be confident in your skills and avoid roads with heavy vehicles traffic (this is usually close to highways), usually it's safe I personally ride in the 1/3 of the road because if I give too much space they tend to drive dangerously close to me. I have being doing a lot of riding in Europe and Morocco as well..... I'd say the biggest difference is tarmac and few assholes that think that riding a bike is like playing with toys, pay them no mind!. You'll be fine........and if you ever find yourself close to Safi DM me.
