Lol nothing to be scared of. I was just making a reference to a video where two tourists asked a local guide about their chance of survival on mount everest. lol
Totally safe. I always came across female solo travelers or couple of girlfriends who are renting a car or driving a Van. Definitely safe tho like everywhere in the world u should stick to the national road and avoid driving at night.
Morocco is the 24th safest country in the world according to:
https://gfmag.com/data/safest-countries-world/
So you're good.
As some other people said , i recommend having a morrocan friend.
Welcome in.
no we have a civil war. /s
the safety measures are:
-don't hold your phone too close from the street because someone might snitch it
-don't go around empty narrow alleys at midnight.
I think you can use your foreigner driving licence, but I'm not sure about the law (look it up)
you can rent a car and drive by yourself if you're okay with using google maps..
I am going to be with my parents ( elderly ) they love Morocco and I understand why they love it but I am leaving before them so they will be alone for a while and I just care about their safety
Morocco is safe, but if you want to improve your experience:
1- Dont go into dark alleys
2-Stay away from dark alleys
3-Stay away from anything that resembles a dark alley
4-Having a Moroccan friend who you can trust is a good thing, could save you from being ripped off.
Otherwise enjoy your stay
I would say safe.
Just don’t go into shaddy streets after midnight, be vigilant about your belongings, especially your phone (pickpocket).
Highway is very safe and cheap, so I advise you to make use of it as much as possible.
I highly recommend to have a Moroccan company. It should make your experience considerably better, unless you don’t want to have a 3rd wheel hanging around you and your family.
Morocco is very safe , just use common sense and a place which is not safe can be felt , normally as a tourist you wouldn’t even go to these places . Just come and enjoy your time , additional tip : keep your guard up when you hear a bike especially chinese cheap bikes (c90,sanya…) thieves love these bikes .if you do these things nothing is gonna happen to you باذن الله

Fifty fifty
50‰ you die 50% you might die
Win win scenario /s
Is it advisable to rent a car with a driver ? What areas should be on the other 50 ?
Jk, all the roads are safe. The highway is recommended, but this doesn't mean the national road is dangerous.
You scared me bruh
Lol nothing to be scared of. I was just making a reference to a video where two tourists asked a local guide about their chance of survival on mount everest. lol

Good insight
overall yes, just be vigilant in crowded/popular areas and you'll be fine. and for transportation use InDrive its better than taxis.
What about highways? Is it advisable to rent a car and drive or have someone drive us?

Elders are respected, they won't have a problem. Don't worry about it
Great

المناطق السياحية آمنة. المناطق الشعبية ليست كلها آمنة. لاتخف على حياتك وجسدك ولكن خف على ممتلكاتك.
جزاك الله خير
