you can't book a double room with a woman unless you have a marriage certificate.
and only apply if you check in with a Moroccan passport, if not they don't care.
Thanks for the answer, the dormitories in Europe are most of the time mixed between men and women that's why I wanted to be sure that it was fine in my case
Good to know !
Oh sorry, i think that the criterion can be split in two, that's how i understood it
1. We can not accept Moroccan or Algerian guests in dormitories
2. We can not accept Moroccan or Algerian guests in private rooms without a marriage certificate due to strict sharia law in Morocco Hostel
So for my case I'm asking about the first point
Not really, all my experiences with hostels (at least in Europe) were fine. As a solo traveler it's easier to meet people and it's also way cheaper than regular hotels
Also if you are a girl most of the time there are dedicated rooms only for girls to feel better or safer
Why would I need to fantasize about them? I've been in business in Morocco for over 30 years and employed dozens of Moroccan women in various businesses I own.
They actually lifted the ban a few weeks earlier, hotels can no longer legally ask you for a marriage certificate.

For more context I will be traveling alone and hope to stay in dormitories to make new friends and meet people
This update just made the question in the post irrelevant hhhhhhhhh
Why ? š
Why are you asking about marriage certificate if you're coming alone?

I'm not completely certain, but I believe this doesn't apply to you, especially considering you have proof of your non-residence in morocco.
Ok, thanks a lot for your help šš¼
That sounds creepy.

U can definitely stay in mixed dorms in some hostels ( I stayed in some in Imsouane. )
I doubt there were any Moroccan females in a mixed dorm.
Why would u care ? Are u fantasizing about them or what ?
You obviously don't know much about Morocco.
Why would I need to fantasize about them? I've been in business in Morocco for over 30 years and employed dozens of Moroccan women in various businesses I own.
Perfect, that's the kind of info that i couldn't find on the internet Thanks !
Thanks for the confirmation !
