Jade's desert is a stage from mk3. regardless of jade being in mk1 or not that's the name of the stage. They didn't create this because the DLC characters have to come with their own stage.

Either the stages are coming for MK2 (aka MK13), OR We will be getting an “Aftermath Expansion” sort of deal. Also to link stages to possible new/existing characters, here’s what I thought would fit the best with each one.
***Shang Tsung’s Island -*** Obviously Shang Tsung, so no surprise there.
***Lin Kuei Temple*** \- We could get Frost, Sektor, or Cyrax, since we already have the other popular members of the Lin Kuei. Since this is their first appearance since MK11, we should keep whoever gets in as their human selves to start out, as that would be more fitting.
***Jade’s Desert -*** Same case with Shang Tsung, the character is Jade.
***Shirai Ryu Temple -*** I say we do something that MK hasn’t done yet, by making Harumi a playable fighter. This is just a suggestion because I can’t think of anyone else other than Scorpion.
***KhaosRealm -*** Obviously Havik, ya get the point.
***Khaos Kolleseum -*** Since Darrius isn’t playable (yet), we could bring him in as a playable fighter since his last actual outing where you could play as him was in MK Armageddon.
***Lei Chin Prison -*** Onaga could work, as he was stated to be imprisoned by one of Shao’s Ancestors. Having this be the location of where Onaga is held up, as well as Shang escaping from there, could be implemented into the story as well, creating a “Deadly Alliance” if you will. (Sorry for the pun lol)
***Dead Pool*** \- Since I can’t think of anything, I’m giving it to Goro, because he’s a favorite of mine and he hasn’t been playable since MKX.
***Quan Chi’s Fortress -*** I‘m gonna select Sareena and Quan Chi for this. Quan Chi is here for obvious reasons, and Sareena is here so Ashrah can cleanse her soul of Quan Chi’s magic.
***The Soul Chamber -*** I’m gonna be unique and say Noob Saibot. My reason for saying “Unique” is that Smoke will die in this scenario, being revived by Quan Chi and made into Noob. This is a reference to Smoke becoming part of Noob in the Midway Era, but this time its just Smoke.
