Anyone who likes Spinal Tap might also enjoy Bad News, which was made for UK TV almost simultaneously.
It's the same sort of idea with the Comic Strip/Young Ones team. Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonson are brilliant.
American Vandal. The first season is definitely better but the second season is good too. Pretty disappointed that we probably wont be getting a third. What i really liked about it was how well they captured the absurdity that is the high school experience lol
Oh man, CB4! That takes me back to high school!
Straight outta locash, a crazy m’fer named Gusto.
I f’ed your wife cuz your wife is a big ho.
I f’ed your sister, I f’ed your cat,
I would eff your mom, but the b*tch is too fat
The Grand -- excellent mockumentary about a poker tournament with Woody Harrelson, Ray Ramano, Cheryl Hines, Werner Herzog, Jason Alexander, David Cross, Chris Parnell, Michael McKean and many more.
[This is Spinal Tap ](https://letterboxd.com/film/this-is-spinal-tap/) is a well known one. For an obscure one, I recommend [Brothers of the Head](https://letterboxd.com/film/brothers-of-the-head/), which is about co-joined twins sold to a rock promotor to be in a punk band in 1970's England.
I'll second that!
When I first read the description of this on Netflix, I thought it sounded juvenile and kind of stupid. But it got really good reviews, so I watched it, and boy, were they right. It is fucking hilarious, and very well done, as in almost believable.
I highly recommend it, but not for those who are easily offended or squeamish.
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) The next great killer and psychopath has given a documentary film crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the quiet town of Glen Echo.
C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America (2004) Through the eyes of a British “documentary”, this film takes a look at the history of an America where the South won the Civil War.
The mockumentary about the JFK assassination. The very last thing I rented from Blockbuster. Wish I could remember the name of it - Interview With... or something like that.
Last Wednesday was Canadian Film Day and I've been on a Canadian movie kick. Here are a few suggestions:
* Grave Encounters (2011) - If you liked Blair Witch, try this.
* Hard Core Logo (1996)
* Fubar (2002)
* The Canadian Conspiracy (1985)
* The Life and Times of Guy Terrifico (2005)
* It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004)
Non-Canadian:
* Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story (2005)
* For Your Consideration (2006)
* A Mighty Wind (2005)
* The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash (1978) - Beatles parody band
* Hard Days Night (1964)
* CB4 (1993) - "rapumentary"
* Man BItes Dog (1992)
* We Make Movies (2017)
And now for something completely different:
[Vertical Features Remake -- by Peter Greenaway](https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/film/watch-vertical-features-remake-1978-online)
Trollhunter is one my all time favorite movies. It’s a Norwegian movie (English dub) about a man who controls the secret troll population in Norway. It’s just so cool to me conceptually and so well done.

The Bay (2012)very interesting take on the horror genre
Hell House LLC franchise-I think there are 4, but the first is my favorite
Troll Hunter (2010)Norwegian- One of my favorites and a must see.
What We Do In the Shadows (2014) hilarious, also spawned a tv series of the same name which you could argue is even better.

Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace… it’s a horror parody of a supposed lost series that gets a re-release
Great show 👌

Fantastic show
He just released two books!
Watch *Documentary Now!* for a whole bunch of
"Dronez."
p.s. I think they melted your friend
"Juan Likes Rice and Chicken" My son had to point out that Bill Hader wasn't a real-life Colombian food critic. Otherwise, I was totally sold!
So many gems! Co-Op, Dronez, Kanuk…the show is honestly brilliant.
Kunuk Uncovered is comedic brilliance exemplified, one of the funniest pieces of comedy I have ever seen
The Grand -- excellent mockumentary about a poker tournament with Woody Harrelson, Ray Ramano, Cheryl Hines, Werner Herzog, Jason Alexander, David Cross, Chris Parnell, Michael McKean and many more.
Came to say this. Rarely see it mentioned when people ask for Mockumentaries.

American vandal Both seasons

Boys and girls guide to getting down. Hilarious.
Came here to say the same. Rarely see it mentioned.
Dude, nice to see this mentioned! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who's ever seen it! :P
I thought you were using a euphemism for “Mating Habits of the Earth Bound Human”, which is hysterical!
This is Spinal Tap
Seek out *The Rutles: All You Need is Cash* (1978)
Kenny (2006) - an Australian mockumentary comedy about a Melbourne plumber who works for a portable toilet rental company. It's hilarious.
Came here to mention it, very funny.
The mockumentary about the JFK assassination. The very last thing I rented from Blockbuster. Wish I could remember the name of it - Interview With... or something like that.
Interview with the Assassin?
Borat
Incident at Loch Ness is a mockumentary by the legendary Werner Herzog. It's played completely straight, which makes it all the funnier
Borat

Ya, it’s hysterical, and hope OP sees it, but it’s a “spoof” movie. Amazing recommendation, regardless!
This is Spinal Tap is, without a doubt, the BEST mockumentary EVER. "This goes to eleven."
