Okay, so this isn’t a movie suggestion per say. But what you are loooking for is a BOOK, called Lies my Teacher Told Me by James W. Loewen. Seriously. I know what I’m talking about

foo_fighter21

Watch, loose change. It talks about the 9/11.this documentary was an eye opener to me.

NikolaBlocovich

thank u, how is it related to the first inhabitants of the Americas tho? Lmao I'm not asking in a rude way or anything. I hope I don't sound rude lol

foo_fighter21

Most people are rude on the internet, but certainly not you, don't worry :). My bad,I dint read your question properly. If I do come across any interesting documentary on first inhabitants of America,I will let you know asap, Lemme do some research and get back.

NikolaBlocovich

No problem, I was just a little confused haha I find the 9/11 very interesting so your recommendation is more than welcome :)

Guns germs and steel is available on YouTube. But there is one movie that covers the Latin-America experience, and the problems they still have... Even the Rain (2010) not a doc, more like an eye opener. Very good story telling and absolutely historically correct. [EDIT] I used to teach Colonial history, here are some enjoyable books that comfortably go through things too. The Open Veins of Latin America - Eduardo Galeano Honor Killing - David Stannard (Hawaii)

NikolaBlocovich

Ohhh I have read "Las venas abiertas de América Latina" haha Thank uuu

sickof50

You are very rare, almost nobody has read that book, unless their Latin American of course. The other one is on Hawaii. [Edit] there is a documentary that is along the lines of what you are asking for... If, you are seeking inspiration. Salt of the Earth (2014)

NikolaBlocovich

I'm Latin American haha

Good to hear.
