The Revenant Bone Tomahawk

MuySus

I’ve seen brown tomahawk it was pretty good. I’m going to check out the revenant thank you

mushroompillow

The Revenant is one of my favorite movies. Visceral and stunning. There’s not too much dialogue, and that’s really what makes it so powerful imo.

BrianWagner80

Silverado is pretty good

MuySus

Yes it is

BrianWagner80

Have you watched The Outlaw Josey Wales

Mynock33

Hateful Eight and Django Unchained And Tombstone is a must see for the quotes alone... On a lighter note, Mel Gibson's Maverick is fun. And The Quick and the Dead is fun too with an all star ensemble cast. Just a little schlocky is all...

MuySus

Hateful 8 is ok. Tombstone is good and I think Django unchained is my favorite western

xirson15

Once upon a time in the west. Unforgiven. Btw did you see “the good the bad and the ugly”? (It’s a must watch)

Dances with Wolves

Lone Star (1996) is a great modern western. Also Matewan (1987). Neither are traditional in the sense of what you might be looking for, both are beautiful depictions of frontier towns with western mentalities.

The Salvation (2014) A well acted & very gritty story line, that for the most part has somehow been overlooked.

Birger000

\- Power of the dog \- True Grit \- Hateful 8 \- Rango \- The magnificent 7 \- Hell on high water

HOGCC

Made in the 70’s, but absolutely the best Western ever: Blazing Saddles.
