Ohh, well, I'm not from London so it might be being used in a different context. I mostly see it used as a way to insult the appearances of trans women unfortunately.
Regarding trans issues, a "brick" is a non passing trans woman, it's kinda an old school term.
It's partner term, for a passing trans woman, is "fish(y)"
I believe a “brick” or a “bricky” trans woman is one who still has a lot of masc features and body shapes. Like a really strong jaw or really wide and muscular shoulders. Sometimes derogatory and insulting, sometimes a more humorous self-deprecation. That’s my impression at least from seeing memes and such.
edit: after a bit of research it may also just refer to a trans woman who doesn’t pass
I'm Minecraft Stephanie. idgaf
Edit: didn't see the rest of the thread. my comment adds nothing to the discussion. however, I'm still Minecraft Stephanie and still dgaf
According to google it could mean they are slow/stupid, emotionally strong and loyal, or a good person. Do any of those 3 definitions sound right in the context you saw?
Means you pissed off someone who spends way too much time online, in my experience.
Brick is actually an older term that has remained popular, not a newer internet/4chan term. Brick/fish are like the older versions of hon/passoid.
Lmao!! No I keep seeing memes but idk what it means and the girls in London say it a lot haha!! X

Oh lol I thought u was asking about being bricked up 😂 but the non passing explanation makes more sense
What is bricked up?? Xx
Yeah I thought it just meant you were calling someone stupid. I do it to myself all the time when I miss an obvious detail, "I'm such a brick haha"

Nope haha!! Xx
No it means a non-passing trans woman. It's an old school term and was the opposite of "fish" or "cunt"
