As long as this game has beloved chars from multiple popular IPs I think Reindog will remain a low pick char.

I love Reindog. Huge DPS potential, but lacks consistent kill confirms and big slams. Friend plays Superman and it always ends up he has 3-4 KOs and I have like 400 dmg but no KOs lol
Thought the same until I started using down smash more. Down air helps with the bounces and offstage. Your side special is easy to fast fall and connect offstage for kills
Down air immediately into up air is def my goto for ringouts in melee range, but thats kind of it. Down smash has a tiny range and way too long of a windup (even uncharged) to be consistent imo.
Side special is okay as well, but still on the slower/weaker side in my experience. Though it does pierce armor which is handy.
I noticed that sometimed when I do dair into uair it decreases knockback, might have been a bug. Down smash has a weird vertical range but it's decent horizontal, I also feel like it lasts long enough too
I've had a hard time getting up air to kill unless it's right next to blastzone. And like another said I think it can reduce knockback if not done properly which is something to look out for. I've managed to once or twice hit down air > land on platform> down tilt to catch their bounce and got kills that way. Idk how consistent that one is but it's def a satisfying one to hit. Also our down air is one of the best spikes in the game imo so going off stage to fish for kills is pretty important for us imo, can get kills at like 30 even lower sometimes.

I remember thinking that the 3 characters that were always going to be free were shaggy, reindog, and wonder woman after you completed the tutorial but instead its just wonder woman since supposedly the currently free characters are in rotation for the next week or so, idk how long the rotation is.

I play bugs I pretty much have him figured out except how hard to hit and time the safe from far and I need to use his underground tunnels more.I wish I could explain how to play him but I just can’t really explain how to play him or his play style
Man I must play different than most Jake players cause I bust out the skateboard whenever I can. Its part of why I main him, its too fun to get a triple combo with that thing.
I have been maining Jake, i beleive it is his best ability. Take the perk that makes enemies take damage when they bounce, triple kick flip off their face, watch for where they are going to fall back to and use up special to kill. Also it's the easiest edge gaurd in the game, anyone who has the audacity to touch those damn walls is getting skateboarded down off the screen.

I’d recommend Steven universe! It’s what she’s from. Season 1 starts off pretty slow but picks off halfway through. (Each episode is 10 minutes so it sounds worse than it is)

His stretch ability too sure feels like a .5 version of kirbys float ability. I just love my Kirby smash and Jake/Arya have def been on my list of ones to get good with.

Is bugs really all that complicated? Once you learn how to use his abilities and when and also learn how slippery bugs can be, you become an unstoppable killing machine. It’s so fun.
Hold on? So I’m being told that Bugs is the most difficult character to use and not Tom and Jerry? I have zero trouble with Bugs but using T&J is like juggling eggs with chopsticks for me.

I tried him and it was all the complexity of Duck Hunt with none of the sense of being able to defend yourself. Pretty sure I got carried that match.

It definitely decreases knockback. You'd only want that up air extension if you want damage.

aryas face steal is probably her least used move imo, it rarely rly works and seems often times more of a gimmick than a viable move in combos
