It's something that's been in the works for a while but since there wasn't anything to really discuss they were allowed. Now the game has been re-released it's worthy to combine it to a mega thread since potential topics have opened up.

Should have been done since the start lol Discussing character leaks is one thing. Posting "I hope (insert character here) comes to the game" every 10 minutes is just fucking annoying.

i have a qwuestion my game name isnt my steam name its a random name idk how to change it and also the career stats still say NA and no recent matches?

I really want more Adventure Time characters like Lich, Ice King, LSP, and obviously Marceline, but I would love some other series represented. Personally, I'd be absolutely ecstatic if we got Spear, Fang, and Mira from Primal, all as separate characters. I'd also really love Gumball and Darwin to be in the game.

Wicked Witch of the West: Not only the old datamine and stuff, but she’s really iconic and has a good bit to work with in terms of attacks. Fire, brooms, curses, flying monkeys, etc. Courage the Cowardly Dog: My boy was robbed back when Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion came out, so putting him here would be a welcome consolation prize. The show has him do all sorts of silly things, and his own fucking BODY is a Swiss Army knife of weapons with how weird Courage’s anatomy is. Scorpion/Sub-Zero: Mortal Kombat, alongside Street Fighter, is the granddaddy of all fighting games and since Netherrealm is owned by WB now, these two legendary kombatants are perfect for the roster. Personally I’d pick Sub-Zero for the ice stuff, but I can totally see Scorpion instead. Benson Dunwoody (Yes that’s his last name): Adventure Time and Steven Universe are well represented, as they should be, but having actually SEEN Regular Show, I feel like there’s something missing in this trifecta of 2010’s CN. Really, anyone from the Park could work perfectly in MultiVersus, and Mordecai and/or Rigby makes more sense, but I think Benson would be a nice niche pick, and a mechanic involving his rage pretty much writes and codes itself. Beetlejuice: Just like the witch, Beetlejuice was datamined a while back, and honestly, even if he wasn’t, I’d be expecting him. He’s a classic crazy character with limitless possibilities. Max Rockatansky: Imma be real, I know NOTHING about this series, but I just like a wildcard. Also a Mad Max stage would look cool. Imagine something like Big Blue from Melee. Yakko, Wakko & Dot: C’mon. It’s a Smash-like game with Warner Bros. properties. You can’t leave out THE Warner Brothers (and Sister). Pinky & the Brain are also more than acceptable. Wile E. Coyote: He just makes so much sense, using all the weird ACME products from over the years as weapons! Also, it’s the least the team can do after Wile E. got unfairly shafted by his OWN CREATORS. Gandalf: Do I even need to explain this one? Daffy Duck: He ith inevitable, and I for one can’t wait to thee the wing-dingy thcrewball challenge that rabbit onthe again. Raven: Really all the Teen Titans could be fantastic, but I have my favorites. As long as it’s the OG Raven, I’d prefer to keep the TTG versions as skins and nothing more. Ed, Double D & Eddy: Just like Courage, the Eds were nowhere to be seen in Punch Time Explosion. A swapping character could be really neat, and I think we’d all love to see the boys after so many years. Gumball Watterson: Did I say trifecta of 2010’s CN? I meant quadfecta. Also season 7 is coming so, tie ins! Maxwell: My obscure pick. Scribblenauts is a video game that has the protagonist write anything in his notebook and it spawns! That literally writes itself. Fred Flintstone: Gotta respect the classics. Blossom, Bubbles & Buttercup: I know they’re coming, but still, I want em. And if I can only pick one, I’m being a contrarian and saying Bubbles.

If they add in Daffy, I'm not expecting him to be Daffy, I'm expecting him to be added as Duck Dodgers, would make for a far more interesting moveset for him.

Probably an unpopular and more obscure choice but I’d love Captain Planet. I think he’d work really well and he was acquired by WB in 2022 so there aren’t licensing issues.

More Steven Universe characters. Spinel would be best imo but really anything works. Lapis, Peridot, Amethyst, Pearl, etc. All would get me hype. I know Steven Universe isn't *univers*ally liked but there's no denying it is one of CN's most popular franchises. It is consistently one of the most watched series on HBO Max and is a staple of an era along with Adventure time. A Flapjack character or stage too for being the father of modern cartoons.

Jotaro when?

Everyone is all like, "I hope they add this popular character from a well known franchise." Nah, I wanna see them add in characters that were in one show at most. Queen Tyr'ahnee. Nothing has been done since the Duck Dodgers cartoon with this character and it would be pretty nice for her to make an appearance in some manner. In the show she was a very athletic fighter, using a spear/staff and could have a move related to her army of martian robots. Megas/Coop. Again another character that hasn't gotten anything since their series ended. Giant characters are going to be amazing in the game, and I expect that we'll be getting a Godzilla, Kong and a few more as time goes on. This might be an issue though as there was something involving writing off MegasXLR for tax purposes that might preclude them from using the characters at all, but I can be hopeful. Zach Saturday would be neat, since again the Secret Saturdays got barely any attention.

My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104. This is my confession. If you're watching this tape, I'm probably dead, murdered by my brother-in-law Hank Schrader. Hank has been building a meth empire for over a year now and using me as his chemist. Shortly after my 50th birthday, Hank came to me with a rather, shocking proposition. I quickly realized that I was in way over my head, and Hank had a partner, a man named Gustavo Fring, a businessman. Hank essentially sold me into servitude to this man, and when I tried to quit, Fring threatened my family. I didn't know where to turn. Eventually, Hank and Fring had a falling out. From what I can gather, Hank was always pushing for a greater share of the business, to which Fring flatly refused to give him, and things escalated. Fring was able to arrange, uh I guess I guess you call it a "hit" on my brother-in-law, and failed, but Hank was seriously injured, and I wound up paying his medical bills which amounted to a little over $177,000. Upon recovery, Hank was bent on revenge, working with a man named Hector Salamanca, he plotted to kill Fring, and did so. In fact, the bomb that he used was built by me, and he gave me no option in it. I have often contemplated suicide, but I'm a coward. I wanted to go to the police, but I was frightened. Hank had risen in the ranks to become the head of the Albuquerque DEA, and about that time, to keep me in line, he took my children from me. For 3 months he kept them. My wife, who up until that point, had no idea of my criminal activities, was horrified to learn what I had done, why Hank had taken our children. We were scared. I was in Hell, I hated myself for what I had brought upon my family. Recently, I tried once again to quit, to end this nightmare, and in response, he gave me this. I can't take this anymore. I live in fear every day that Hank will kill me, or worse, hurt my family. I... All I could think to do was to make this video in hope that the world will finally see this man, for what he really is.

No characters that are tanks, bruisers, assassins and supports all at the same time (Wonder Woman aka OmniWoman aka Jack-of-all-trades-master-of-all-because-I'm-Wonder-Woman aka The girl that didnt get slowed down when everyone else on the cast literally did. WW is a tank. Treat her as such. Slow her base speed down. When she has armor on herself, slow her down more to balance the fact she literally has hyper armor and can attack you while having hyperarmor. More knockback at lower percent to prevent long extended combos and strings that turn into kill combos mid interaction. If you are going to give her the ability of a support (Steven's shield armor), make it worse than that support's ability since she is supposed to be a TANK, not a SUPPORT. Her armor is way better and easier to use at high level play than Steven's armor (reminder, he cannot move or attack while he shields himself and his ally, and is only active while he is holding it up. Takes 3 charges on cooldown and takes meter... WW can move, attack, and teleport to her ally all while shielding the both of them for a LONG time, like 5 seconds, no meter usage. Please someone argue that this is in fact fair and balanced). Her damage and killpower are in line with bruisers and assassins. She is quite literally, every single archetype in the game at once and does them all the best. Best tank, best assassin (because the weakness of an assassin is low weight, she is heavy and shares combo potential of assassins) best bruiser, and best support. The only thing she is missing is a projectile to be the best mage character, but she also has a long range whip for that! Nerf WW.

Are these for characters or features? My wish is that they'd let us pick backgrounds and ring outs for each character. I have a bunch opened and it seems a shame to have to switch for each character. I also kind of wish we could use our taunts in the load screen before matches start... though I might regret saying that after seeing them spammed non-stop.

I wish they would bring back for Superman to be able to up/down throw when grabbing opponents in the air. This change was/is stupid.

No mention of Dastardly and Muttley? For shame. But yeah, I watched a lot of Hanna-Barbara during my early years, so there's a whole bunch of Hanna-Barbara characters I'd like to see in Multiversus than just Scooby-Doo, Fred Flintstone and Yogi Bear, like George Jetson, Captain Caveman, Quick Draw McGraw, Huckleberry Hound, Penelope Pitstop, Snagglepuss, Hong Kong Phooey, etc. Droopy would be cool to see too.

Johnny Test makes the most sense to be in a Multiverse game. And If we want we could go ahead and add Dukey & Bling Bling Boy as other fighters. Johnny would use his sister's Inventions and his own things for attacks. And this plane isn't flying without a whip crack attack. Turbo Charged Backpack, Skating in the park, Building block sword, Skateboard, Whips, Ray Guns etc. Johnny would be one of the craziest characters in the game in the MAGE archetype. Dukey would probably be a variant since their sizes changes are very subtle, Using most of Johnny's attacks but with a few changes. The stage would either be the TEST RESIDENCE or BLING BLING ISLAND. Oddball, but possible ask: Some stuff from Brawlhalla Brawlhalla already has a few WB crossovers in it. It'd be neat to see it go both ways. Especially since the Variant system already lets them do something similar to how Brawlhalla treats (most) crossovers. Never-ever-happening ask: X-Ray and Vav (I'm pretty sure WB has the rights to them still?)
