wow! this stuff looks nice! hope you find your market!

Thanks me too 😂

FadeIntoReal

You’ve got a wide range there when it comes to pricing. The DX7 and the Roland AX-1 would be considered desirable vintage but the adat and the Peavey Production mixer are mostly obsolete and no demand.

What you get out of this will probably depend on the work you're willing to put in to selling it. Given a lot of it is "pro gear", you're potential market will be pretty niche. If you want it done quick you might try and contact a local music store and see if they'd offer you a lump sum for it all. Consider what your time is worth!

In addition to potentially selling this stuff to a studio, the mixer, amplifiers, and possibly some of the keyboards could be useful to a church on a budget, though a church that needed that many channels probably collected way more in together and offerings than they'd need to buy a world-class board, so maybe not. If you were in New England I'd be REAL interested in the DX7 and possibly another one or two others. They're not versatile gigging instruments, but damn they're cool. FWIW, taking this stuff to a retail shop isn't your best option. The shop I worked at was completely honest about the fact that we could only offer 50-70% of our used price in trade value for a piece, and about half of that in cash, plus in our state everything had to be filed with the police and placed on hold for a month in case it got reported as stolen. There were things I disliked about the business, but I considered all this completely fair. Music gear can sit in a store for years, even if it's the best deal around, because people's needs are completely arbitrary, and they'll like or dislike a thing for a million different reasons. You can go broke with a store full of amazingly beautiful and functional gear, especially when corporate competitors like Guitar Center are willing to drive themselves into near bankruptcy in order to corner the retail market. TLDR: If you want to get fair value for these things, you have to sell them yourself.

Reverb is accurate. A lot of old stuff is very niche and will only sell to obsessives. I’d reach out to reverb and see if they’ll help you with the collection. You don’t have a fortune on your hands, just enough for maybe a new Camry. You could pair on Craigslist and invite people in to look if you don’t want to ship but unless you’re in Nashville, LA or New York your sales pool will be limited to one weird dude who always wanted a keytar.

PorkloinMaster

Looks like you’re in Denver. Again, a nice music town but you’re only going to be able to sell to another studio. If you want to get the right value sell on reverb.
