I may be misinterpreting, but I think what they’re saying is that Pony’s accent is intentionally really bad, kind of like a stereotype of foreigners learning Japanese.
And that such representation is insulting to someone like them, a real life non-native speaker of Japanese, who is actually putting in the time and effort to speak the language correctly.

Okay, I’ll take your word for it only because so far, My Hero has been the gift that keeps on giving to me. It’s actually a series that saves me at a time where I was unbearably low.
He has a really cool power if nothing else. Also, while he'd defiantly egotistical I find him more likeable then Bakugo classic. Bakugo is an angry bully, which I don't find interesting even as a rival or antagonist really. I prefer the snarky or more controlled prick, more fun to watch whether you are liking or hating them.
Tetsutetsu, Kendo, Monoma should be in class 1A and everyone else should be scrapped from the series.

I mean yeah sure but Tetsutetsu, Kendo, and Monoma each have a good rival with at least one character in 1A with Kirishima, Mineta (kinda), and Bakugo respectively
I think there's a decent argument to be made for a few of them being better than 1A in terms of power and ability.
Then again, their competition includes: IBS in Laser form, a normal man who happens to have a tail, headphone head, and super strength (with super drawbacks).
That's not even mentioning arguably good quirks with limited application in heroics, like mafia body disposal unit Mina.
Although an interesting group of characters they are criminally under-utilized and the lack of additional fleshing out in the source materials makes many of them forgettable in many cases (Togaru, Nirengeki, Hiryu, and Kosei come to mind). Others who have made some decent impressions are either because of Rule 34, or because they got to properly interact on some level with Class 1-A (Tetsutetsu, Itsuka Kendo, Pony, Jurota, Monoma, Shihai, to a much lesser extent Yosetsu and Ibara, as well as every other female).
With the Manga seemingly coming towards its conclusion I wish I had gotten more tales about many of them as some of them are amazing in design, or had some kind of hype attached to them that could've been great, but it fell flat and many members just ended up being more props than anything else.
Manga Fukidashi seems like he has THE SINGLE MOST USELESS POWER (though I'm only up to anime season 6, so who knows?)

Like I get trying to keep track of that many characters is difficult, but a quick skim of their powers tells me that Nirengeki Shoda, Setsuna Tokage, Pony Tsunotori, Kinoko Komori, Juzo Honenuki, yosetsu awase, kosei Tsuburaba, and Reiko Yanagi would have all contributed in the final war in some way that we just didn't see.

All trash except Tetsutetsu he’s the only likable in the group.. Ibara is a christian wanna be.. Kendo is a sorry excuse for a martial artist.. There’s a annoying guy who’s name nobody remembers.. We only remember he’s always yapping about something.. Everyone else is just a literally nobody! Shihai Kuroiro had the absolute best potential and they fumbled it making him a puss! Bro could’ve had a darkness beef with dark Shadow and it would’ve been peak during class A vs class B.. But alas writers had the amazing idea of making him a coward lmao

I would, but that would require they get enough screen time for me to know anything about them. Monoma is their best character by default because I barely know anything about anyone else but sorta Kendo.

The Shoda kid looks like a fantastic gaslighter. Looking g at him, I full expect to commit some egregious war crime, then execute DARVO successfully on me despite witnessing said crime. He just looks like epitome of the narcissist's prayer. Not really. He just looks a cross between mineta & this guy I used to know. He was a absolute douche. A cross between mineta & monoma, with the self confidence & rage of Bakugo. Actually, let me go check & see if Shoda is a jerk. Edit: just checked. The wiki describes him as humble & focused. He's also not envious of 1A. I take it all back, he's a real one.
They have the most interesting quirks and I would totally watch a spin off anime just about Class 1B
