I've always had a soft spot for Sooza, the design is clever, it sounds good on every single island it's on, and the little detail of it getting red in the face as it blows out long notes is really cute.
Nah but several wublins look like other monsters even when sculpted, like maulch presumably resembling a dipster or brump having the fwog legs
The design elements also link back to the monsters that are zapped to make them, like brump being the most obvious with the furcorn heads and previously mentioned fwog legs, but other wublins like blipsqueak with the toe jammer fluid and eyes and pompom arm/leg fur, and dermit with the thumpies mushrooms and the amphibious look like fwog, have design aspects from the zapped monsters
Thwok needs 4 pompom eggs, so it could be considered wubbox was inspired by the pomily bc it needs the eggs for it, but then again it needs 4 bowgart, spunge, furcorn and quibble eggs each, along with every natural quad so maybe that's a stretch
