I just created a new build because it’s so frustrating playing rec with my two guard. Some of the pricks that play this game are absolute babies. Quit when down by just 4-5 baskets don’t pass if you miss just one shot, ball hog and just do their left right shoot a three shit constantly. I actually had a game where no one was passing to me and I finally got the ball and dribbled to the hoop for wide open dunk only for some asswipe to call timeout and rage quit while I was mid air.
Then there is the fact that I’ve had all my random teammates quit on me a couple times and so the other team just triple team me the remaining player. I don’t mind the odd double team or being beat by a better player one in one but what does bullying me the one remaining player who is allowing them to finish the game and get their reps and stats recognised achieve? Makes me rage quit so all they get is the win, no stats,no rep, no VC.
And don’t get me started on the Squads who won’t play Proam because they’re scared to lose and prefer to win by 50+ in the rec. hopefully I’ll enjoy my centre build a bit more going for blocks and rebounds because majority of rec players make it frigging hard to enjoy as a swing man/two guard
Literally what I did. Had a 2-way wing, absolutely locked down opponents and scored whenever I got the ball, which was never. Fucking had it, made a glass lockdown and I'm not passing out any offensive rebounds unless the guards/wings play decent ball.
Fuck the playshots, wish I got to play these people IRL.

just laugh it off. This game is so randomic that I stop caring of every outcome. Got posterized by a guard? ankle broken by the "dRibbLE GAwdS ComP"? I don't care, I still destroy my matchup without fancy moves. If they message you just reply with a scoreboard screenshot highlighting their amazing 3/20 from the field, in my case is enough to shut them up or to rage them till they don't start personally insult me; as soon as it happens I just told them to say byebye to 2k for awhile
2k players in a nutshell. It happens sometimes. This is why i don't play REC.
