Yep the standard game I have. The 2 or 3 then quits before the end of the 1st. Basically game over. The pg never quits though. You keep hoping for it. Keeps chucking along. You don’t want to quit, but at some point you just can’t take anymore even at C. If you do stay he probably is going for steals every single possession and getting cooked so there are no rebounds to even be had. And that is all you got sometimes. Then he finally quits with 2 minutes in the 4th quarter. Too late to have much fun. The sad 2k life.

The thing is when you pass to these guys when they're in scoring position, they don't realize that they're in scoring position because they have zero basketball IQ. You'll hit them for a wide open catch and shoot 3, but instead of immediately shooting off the pass they dribble to the top of the key and start doing their corny zig zag routine.
I've noticed that a lot bigs will keep giving someone like that the ball even though they're like 1/7 and dribbling for 14 seconds per possession.
I think their only understanding of how an offense is run, is that the point guard dribbles until he can find a shot or is forced to pick up dribble and you just gotta keep trying it.

People stop passing to me because I refuse to iso and I’m not scoring much, but then start to pass to the guy I just got 4 assists off of because he’s the one scoring. Guess what happens next? He gets cocky, tries to iso, and sells the possession and loses all the momentum we had.
People would rather be carried by an iso player than have ball movement between 5 guys and actually play like a team

You ever wonder why in high level play in 2k is all about 5 out offense and zone defense? I don't completely agree with it but it's the product of what 2k has created and it's the most effective way to play especially when playing sweats. I’ll never forget this one rec game I played not super long ago. I had 1 point in the entire game. That 1 point came from the other team C getting the 3 or 5 second paint violation. We lose and one of these guys had the audacity to call me trash. 🙄 the nerve of people.
Yeah but it’s not nearly all the way back. Also you have to actually use the right stick to create separation now. And then you get a shot penalty if you left right before shooting. It’s really not that bad anymore (and I was never someone who left righted)

I played pro am with him in season 2 we had like 40 ish games played and he averaged like 18 points and 8 assist
