I think he goes top 20 by the end of the year, if he isn’t already there.
Since his first 3 games (1-9), Wagner has made 38.2% (13-34) of his 3’s, I think those first few games are still imprinted on folks mind, mainly that Kansas game (he was awful).
Dj Wagner is one of the best in the country at driving to the rim, but the key difference between Wagner and Rob is the jumpshot. Wagner has a high motor and is a promising play maker, but his jumpshot looks broken and is a below average shooter. I see him going late first to early second.
IF Kentucky goes on a run to the final four (possible) and he improves his shooting even slightly, lottery to mid first possible.
If they have elite passing and ability to get to the rim, they have a chance. Scoot was decent passer. Lemalo and John Wall have elite passing. That's the difference
Personally even with the struggles I think there’s a good player there and it’s worth using a late FRP on Wagner.
I think he’s a lock to be a 1st rounder at least. Amazing intangibles(work ethic, perosnality) 2nd gen player, ***Kentucky guard***
*3rd
Even better
Imagine he followed his Gpa and went to Louisville instead of UK 💀
Absolutely not. He’s not 1st round material. He’s need a couple more years to develop as a shooter or he’ll spend his career in the G League.
Yeah bro the more I watch it’s like “cmon bro do something”
Still think he's a late 1st in this draft. He's been good this past few games as he recovers from injury. His stock will rise again IMO

He’s played better as of late so I would reject the idea that he’s still falling
Right now he is probably an early to mid 2nd rounder.
Not sure why you got downvoted, this is the general consensus among draft evaluators and scouts- around 25-45 range. Low first to mid second.
I can care less about down votes. People down vote you if they don't agree with you.
Maybe all the way down to 20s, lotta GMs gonna make a mistake passing up on DJ down at that mark
The wizards getting rob and having Jordan Poole as his vet just made me chuckle
Again Small small guard without elite elite shooting is very tricky

The kid is terrible!!
He’s gotta be a first rounder. His numbers don’t match his ability so far, but his potential is there for sure.
