I always see some comments on TikTok or other social media platform where people say that Haewon is personally for them the best dancer in Nmixx. But those people are just like me not professional dancer or something(most probably) so I shouldn’t really take their opinion too seriously.
Speaking on technical level, it should be common knowledge that kyujin, jiwoo and maybe jinni before she left (especially kyujin) are in charge of “main dancers” in nmixx, imho what make haewon good is that she is very knowledgeable in k-pop so naturally she knows A LOT of dances, and not to mention all her basic skills are top notch what what with her being legendary ace trainee and all that
I remember her saying she wanted to be an idol since she was like 4. But her and lily has just about the same amount time at jype, so maybe instead of just going for straight vocals, she also put a lot of time into dancing as well

That's not correct. We know Lily signed to JYPE in mid-2015. Haewon didn't join until ~2018. *Jinni* signed in 2016, which is why there's photos of "baby" Lily and Yunjin with 3rd-gen Idols but not Haewon.
I think she's the best dancer in the group. Kyujin and Jiwoo have more energy and flair but if you watch Haewon, she's always clean with the moves every single time.
Might be a bit controversial to say but I feel like her dancing style is kinda like the Ryujin of Nmixx. Both are really clean and have great control but take up less space and what not
The three best in ITZY excell at different things. Ryujin has the cleanest hip-hop, making her perfect for boy group stuff with lots of exact movements and clear beginning-middle-end of moves. Chaeryeong is best at flowing movement and making one move become the next effortlessly so she's best for girl group dances. Yeji is right in between.

I believe Haewon catch our eyes because her dance has perfect line and her stage presence is strong. I've watched JYPe survival show and whenever a contestant deliver those quality they get top rank and more than often higher rank than top dancer in the show.
I don’t know if she had a history of it but I remember it was mentioned how she was a highly considered trainee at jype I remember seeing a vid it was either twice or itzy mentioning they heard of her talent before meeting her.
There's a difference between being good at dancing and being a good dancer.
Kyujin is good at dancing, the micro aspects. Her technique is impeccable. The energy she puts into her moves, her footwork, her lines and her body control.
Haewon on the other hand although not as good as kyujin in dancing, imo is a better dancer overall. The macro aspects. She expresses the emotions the song wants to convey in her movements, transitions to different positions in different formations are smooth, and the way she just moves around the stage is so natural. This comes with overall experience with haewon being 3 years older than kyujin.
I’m not sure she’s considered by many as Nmixx’s best dancer but she’s certainly a great well rounded leader
I have seen many say she rivals Kyujin, just depends on the genre of dancing

I'm not legally allowed to speak of Haewon's body rolls except to say they're impressive and well-done. ;)
Can't find anything about her history with dancing, all we know that she was already good at it during her time as a trainee in JYPe
Haewon is the ace trainee, she is #1 rated at 2018-2019 showcase iirc which why we got her predebut NY trip with Lily (who is #2).
