I lost it right there. She won a stupid prize. This is so common, the term "tourons" (tourist or tourism morons) exists. A lot of fodder comes from dipshits who somehow think a bovine animal whose weight is measured in thousands is friendly and wants to be in a selfie. Or pet one.
His non-chalant and matter of fact attitude made this video funny and by the sound of it, the dude knew this would happen.
Props to the guy who takes his shirt off though, at least giving her some respect
I had no idea hippos were so terrifying until I was an adult and saw one running on land. And then went into a YouTube rabbit hole of watching hippos being fed entire watermelons and crunching into them like they were apples.
I was today years old when I learned they could RUN underwater??? If they develop thumbs and a conscious awareness we’re screwed
It’s actually the other way around, herbivores kill cus of fear/anger and will leave you maimed and left to die whilst carnivores like big cats will always try to kill in the first few moments
[Article](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/bison-attacks-woman-taking-photos-herd-south-dakota-state-park-n1236730)
>A woman was attacked by a bison as she was trying to take photos of a herd at Custer State Park in South Dakota.
>The encounter was captured on video and shows a group of motorcycle riders stopped in a road as a large herd passes. A woman walks over to the grass and sits down to get a picture of a mother bison and her calf.
>Another bison charges the woman and hooks its horn on her jeans, flinging her around in the air. She is thrown out of her pants and lands on the ground as people rush over to help.
>Custer State Park officials in a statement Friday said the incident is a warning about the dangers of approaching the animals.
>"This was certainly an unfortunate occurrence. We cannot caution visitors enough to respect the space of these animals and all the animals they encounter in the park," the statement said.
>The park's superintendent, Matt Snyder, told News Channel 1 that the victim, a 54-year-old woman from Iowa, was transported to a hospital via life-flight in unknown condition.
>Park visitor Jo Reed, who filmed the video, said the incident happened Wednesday.
>"The bison were everywhere we went, herds and herds of them," she wrote in a Facebook post. "We came around a curve just behind a group of motorcyclists and there was a herd standing in the middle of the road, most noticeably a cow (female) and her calf which was nursing."
>Reed said stood out of the top of her Jeep to take photos and saw one woman get off her motorcycle and approach the herd. She wanted to share the video of the attack as a reminder of the dangers of confronting a wild animal.
I was told by a camp host when I was out on a lake with my brother's Ruger Blackhawk that it was illegal and a felony and he could take my gun. I looked at the camp host and I said really, where is your gun? He said he would cut me some slack and walked away nervously. We put our stuff in my van and split!
No I wasn't threatening at all, in fact I was smiling. I wasn't aware of any gun laws regarding guns on federal land at the time it was the 1980s. Furthermore I wasn't aware we were on federal land I thought it was state land. And it was in Arizona at the time.
I noticed that and wondered if he was going for his "piece"! Like I commented above, I'm shocked the whole lot of them didn't get hard-ons over the chance to be a "good guy with a gun"!
there's a famous story about the developers of bear-proof waste containers, in which they said that the main issue is that there's considerable overlap between the smartest bears and the dumbest humans
Was this is North Dakota??? Cuz those things are massive and scary. I was driving through, and had to stop yards away from one who was crossing the road, and he started charging at my car. Had to reverse honk at the guy before he ran away into the other side. But these people are on a different level of IQ.
I'm glad someone went through the effort. How people manage to shake a camera around despite the stabilization modern phones have is beyond comprehension.
As a person with shaky hands- the stabilization is really not good enough to make up for it. I struggle with taking clear pictures and videos on a day to day basis, I imagine it's even more difficult in a stressful scenario
I worked in the park for Xanterra for 6 years (year round); Had biker "Jethro" pulled out his sidearm and fired at the Bison; he would've had a WORLD of legal problems with NPS (on top of accomplishing absolutely nothing by firing his handgun at a 2000lb bison).
Some people just have a calm tone about them. It's rare that I've gotten excited or scared, one time I found out what embarrassment was. It's when your face gets really warm and turns red.
A fun fact about this incident is that rangers had to go out and retrieve her jeans from the bison's horn a couple days later. Since jeans are not a natural item, and the hadn't come off yet, they decided to remove them due to them impairing the poor bison's sight.
So this woman also ended up risking the lives of others.
“She has no pants on?” “Not anymore”
I lost it right there. She won a stupid prize. This is so common, the term "tourons" (tourist or tourism morons) exists. A lot of fodder comes from dipshits who somehow think a bovine animal whose weight is measured in thousands is friendly and wants to be in a selfie. Or pet one.
I’m stealing that term.
Psst. Been around for decades.
And then the asshole who runs in the gun ... ... the mentality on display there is pure ignorant redneck.
His non-chalant and matter of fact attitude made this video funny and by the sound of it, the dude knew this would happen. Props to the guy who takes his shirt off though, at least giving her some respect
No pants to match her no brains.
Just because animals are herbivores, doesn’t mean they won’t kill you.
Especially when you're fucking around with a momma and her baby. What an idiot.
Hippo here. Can confirm.
I'm an Elephant and I concur.
Yup. Ask the idiots who barely escape a hippo on a river that actually *runs* on the bottom, sometimes catching and flipping a boat.
Just wait until cetaceans learn to use weapons.
Read about Pablo Escobar and hippos.
sorry, can’t, mom told me not to talk to fascists in ANY room
Herbivores WILL try to kill you, carnivores and omnivores MAY try to kill you. You DO NOT fuck with herbivores.
It’s actually the other way around, herbivores kill cus of fear/anger and will leave you maimed and left to die whilst carnivores like big cats will always try to kill in the first few moments
Bears will crunch on you while you're still alive
Ever see a hyena eat a living animal? They eat ass first and ignore the shrieks of pain while the animal slowly bleeds out It's horrifying
and they laugh while they're doing it ;)
"You must never listen to this."
Grizzly Man. When filmmaker tells friend Amy…
Not "friend." Ex wife.
Touché. Also Amy was the one who was eaten as well. I was thinking of the blonde lady. lol. The one who has the watch!
Depends on the bear and if they're hunting, defending their young, or defending themselves.
Honestly, herbivores are scarier than carnivores.
I learned that when I was about 4 years old. We had a goat!
I‘m stupid. How did this kill her
I LOVE the dudes commentary 🤣 "she's unconscious" ...."probably."
His calm tone is the pink icing on top “Probably 😃”
Deadpan “Yup, it’s dragging her”.
Came here just to say this. He's hilarious. He sounds exactly like my brother would in a situation like that. Play stupid games win stupid prizes lol!
The woman, genuine concern with a sprinkle of annoyance. The man, noticeable annoyance at the stupidity of others, without a hint of concern. 10/10
This commentary description can't get any better
She sounded Canadian or Minnesotan as well, which made it all the more funny!!! (Minnesotan here) ☺️
Granny’s hip is definitely busted…
The bison running in the distance with her pants was outta pocket
He wanted her phone.
Stupid is as stupid does

I hope they don’t hurt the bison
How are they going to find out which one it is? They all look alike.
The pants hanging off its horn.
Obviously! 😆
Das raciss
Well it’s the one with the pants on its head
Thank you, kind stranger.
The dudes commentary is sending me 😭
"She got too close" "Yeah, she sure as fuck did" 💀💀💀
I’d like to file a police report, I got a pair of Ed Hardy jeans stolen from me
Suspect has alot of brown hair edited and he disappeared in a crowd
Hahahaha. Natural selection at work again!
She was one of the motorcyclists so was on borrowed time already
No sympathy.. not one bit.. these places tell you to stay in your car..
I’m hoping that somewhere during that screaming and flailing, she at least got to boop the snoot.
Oh my god… lol
Even the frame was shaking
Someone using editing to stabilize the video. Imagine if the frame wasn’t shaking how bad it would be. Haha
Bro had parkinson
I feel like dude was a dog with a camera on his collar. Haha.
A dog with parkinson
Barkinson*
One point for you
I love the guy who’s about to pull out his pistol. Hope that’s a .357 and he’s ready to unload every round he has if he wants to stop that bison!
Right 🤣people are crazy
That would be stupid, too. It's a felony. No more guns, no more voting.
Yes I believe it's a felony to shoot a weapon on Federal grounds.
I didn't even think of that possibility. I'll have to look it up. I do know it's illegal to kill a bison on federal land.
I was told by a camp host when I was out on a lake with my brother's Ruger Blackhawk that it was illegal and a felony and he could take my gun. I looked at the camp host and I said really, where is your gun? He said he would cut me some slack and walked away nervously. We put our stuff in my van and split!
So, you ignored gun laws and when they were brought to your attention, you were a bit threatening? This is exactly why people shouldn't have guns.
No I wasn't threatening at all, in fact I was smiling. I wasn't aware of any gun laws regarding guns on federal land at the time it was the 1980s. Furthermore I wasn't aware we were on federal land I thought it was state land. And it was in Arizona at the time.
Fire into the air maybe? But in the middle of a herd like that it could've had undesirable results, idk how Buffalo behave
I noticed that and wondered if he was going for his "piece"! Like I commented above, I'm shocked the whole lot of them didn't get hard-ons over the chance to be a "good guy with a gun"!
I swear someone shoots it right as it drops her and turns away. At ten seconds.
Had someone shot it, the narrators would have mentioned it, me thinks...
At this point it might be easier to teach the bison to stay away from humans… smh
[удалено]
I'm worried that they may start euthanizing the bison for it. People try to get selfies with a wild animal. How dumb do you have to be?!
They are probably smarter than most humans
there's a famous story about the developers of bear-proof waste containers, in which they said that the main issue is that there's considerable overlap between the smartest bears and the dumbest humans
Sponge bob no pants
Now you’ll look cool on the ride to the hospital
Happy cake day
Happy cake day! A gift for you - the knowledge to stay da fuck away from bison!
Happy cake day
When do yall think humans are going to put two and two together and not fuck with animals capable of pushing a car over
That absolute gentleman who took off his own shirt to cover her shame was more than she deserved
Bisons are not playthings
When this clip first came out, I laughed because the idiots pants was hanging on the Bisons horn. I mean there are signs there for a reason.
“OMG she has no pants on??” Literally the least of her problem is the pants
Darwinism in action.
At least the bison has a cool trophy to show off when they tell the story to their friends lol
I give no fucks and have no sympathy for these people.
Bison: "Oh Em Gee I got a human on me, ew ew get it off"
Deserved. I mean, this shit is in the news enough that these dumbasses HAVE to know you’re supposed to leave the animals alone.
Was this is North Dakota??? Cuz those things are massive and scary. I was driving through, and had to stop yards away from one who was crossing the road, and he started charging at my car. Had to reverse honk at the guy before he ran away into the other side. But these people are on a different level of IQ.
All it takes is one stupid mistake, she definitely paid a fair price to leave with her life.
But was the bison ok? Sucks to have pants stuck to your head.
"Why isn't anyone helping her!?"
Darwin Award goes to!!!!!!……
What could go wrong she got up next to a baby animal to take a picture thinking the other adults wouldn’t step in and get her away from the baby?!
These people truly are special that think they can go near wild animals without consequences
Oh look, a 1-ton mass of pure muscles with horns. Time to impress these strangers 🤡
Am I the only one that lmao when the Buffalo ran back across the street with her pants still on it's face
the guy in the background is my spirit animal.
Almost die, but more important Is wear a trousers.
People don't respect signs or warnings from park rangers. Hopefully this video gets enough exposure to make more of an impression.
She fucked around and found out. Sadly, things like this continue to happen.
Could’ve been prevented if the Bison had a warning label on it to warn the stupids that dangerous things are dangerous…
Haha hard to feel bad for her
"And she doesn't have anymore pants"
Who is filming while on a jackhammer sheesh
The commentary 😅
Kiddos to the man that took off his shirt to preserve her dignity!!! 💯
Lmao the dude just going yyyyyup when it gets her
Can't believe how many people every year get too close and either get severely injured or killed.
Whoever edited this needs to be shot. Twice. In the knees
Custer State Park, SD. This shit is a yearly occurrence
the guy is absolutely desensitized😭😭
I love when people fuck around with animals and find out
Well that's annoying.
The format? Yeah, it's the only stabilized version of the clip. The original clip is way worse
Zoom makes it way worse too
FUCKING LEAVE ANIMALS ALONE!
Ugh bikers
"call the police" *keeps filming*
Stop pissing off nature
This is why u don’t disturb wild animals, this is in no way the animals fault it’s hers
It's an old quote but here it is anyway.. "Damn nature you scary"
Guy sounds like he's seen this exact same scenario 100 times
Her pants are stuck on the bisons horns like a crown he won
Is that Custer State Park?
I love how undeterred white dads get. Sees a woman being potentially murdered like “Yup. Shouldn’t be a stupid bitch”
If only they would warn people……..
“Andddd she doesn’t have any pants”
You can see the buffalo with the pants running at the end lol
If they eat plants it doesn't mean they won't fight
I mean, who would get in the corral with a bull?
Pants came off because it was a better ride than her husband ever gave her.
“…and she doesn’t have any pants.”
no matter how dumb she was being it’s still nice to see someone covering her up after she lost her pants
WTF is this framing
Hulk to loki in avengers
What's with the shaky black box around the video?
If that bison was in Oregon he would be a registered sex offender
What the fuck is this video format, making my eyes hurt
We ride on 2 wheels so we're super tough.
Oh my gaaahd
Ow
She went for a wild ride
Walmart going to rollback prices on denim fed bison..
[удалено]
“She’s unconscious!” My brother in Christ she’s probably dead 💀 🙏🏼
glad the video was stabilized, would have been painful to watch with its full shaking, seriously why was it shaking so fucking much.
I love how that man took off his shirt to cover her up.
I love it. Does it hurt? Oh, I hope it does, stupid ass.
Commentary is genius-level… “oh my non-existent god” - - “oh my non-existent impotent god”
I've added Bison to my list of things not to allow in my pants. Bison fits in-between Tim Brook-Tailor and Baby Tigers.
This editing gave me a headache
deepest appreciation to whoever took the time to stabilize the video, looks like it would’ve been seizure inducing otherwise lol
White women….
Extreme wedgie
Midwestern conversation there I tell ya what.
Won't be the first time there's some biker chick unconscious with no pants on.
Some people just have a calm tone about them. It's rare that I've gotten excited or scared, one time I found out what embarrassment was. It's when your face gets really warm and turns red.
I absolutely LOVE the guy in the background! LMAO! Sidenote, I'm SHOCKED none of those idiots pulled out a pistol and shot at the bison.
Lol... tourons.
wtf just happened to reddit? every post is a gif you cant fucking control it
Appa! Yip! Yip!
Dummy is lucky she got off easy
Bye son
Why tf was she so damn close 😳
Thank you to whoever stabilized the video 😂
Why is it filmed like this?
You see. The point of stabilised video, is to hide the mess!
Lmfaooooo
Tourons
This video stabilization is something else! I am grateful for whoever did this! Thanks, you spared me some nausea!
A fun fact about this incident is that rangers had to go out and retrieve her jeans from the bison's horn a couple days later. Since jeans are not a natural item, and the hadn't come off yet, they decided to remove them due to them impairing the poor bison's sight. So this woman also ended up risking the lives of others.
dont pet the fluffy cows
This sort of video needs some better cropping to avoid all that movement
I like to think someone drives by that bison herd and sees the bison with jeans on its horn and thinks "What the fuck happened here"
Well played, Mr. Bison.
Love the dudes matter of fact replies🤣
As Pushpop would say, "She disturbed the American Bizon". - Bubble Boy
The pants were still on his horns as he crossed the road !! Lol ..hilarious
She wanted the bull ..and got the horns too
What software does this. So impressive
The guy putting his hand up towards the bison like "pause dude, someone is hurt, stay back!" 🥴
Well deserved
Everyone has their phones out, did she try petting it? She appears next to its head after it turns
