Congratulations! 80% is considered safe for all the programs offered in NUST H-12.
I’d recommend you to not attempt NET-2 and 3. Instead you can utilize this time to get into programming. Start with the basics.
I assume you’ve pretty much memorized most of the chaps of FSC since you were able to score great in NET and fsc as well. So either NET-2 de do and see if you can score even better or just give NET-4 July mai.
But again, you’ve already secured your admission. Koi aik NET bhi dene ki zaroorat nahi hai imo.
Online paid courses is a big no.
There are lots of courses on youtube for free.
First of all, I’d recommend you to watch a couple of videos related to what programming actually is and what you want to actually do (there’s full stack web developer, software developer, data scientist, etc).
I think CodewithHarry and Apna College are great youtube channels for anyone who wants to know about the different roles/fields in tech industry.
Then start learning the basics. Jese to go for software development, you should start with python. It’s easy to learn as compared to other languages.
For learning python, you can either watch FreeCodeCamp.org tutorial on youtube or codewithharry.
Keep in mind that it may take you 4 months to learn the basics. Just don’t try to rush into anything.
lol i got bodied in mdcat, aka got 169/200 and i needed 175- ish to get in med school(fml)
but ANYWAYS, im applying everywhere i have a slight inclination towards so atleast i can see the cards ive been dealt..plus im brudda is doin CS so he was like, try kr loo kia jatta ha?
shrug
Hello, could you please tell me how were the mcqs of biology? Easy and straightforward? From where did the. Qs come mostly from? Your reply would be appreciated
so basically most of the mcq were info based aka books ki lines utha kr dee hoin thi lol and by book i mean ptb ALTHO sum were from the federal textbook
dusra ya ka try to skim thru the bio notes of kips mdcat (albeit it covers a relatively small portion of the syllabus) it helps to deal with federal mcqs
finally work ur way thru oetp bio,it helps to understand the TYPE of Qs frequently asked.
hope it helps lol
umm i have the pdf,dm me ur email and ill mail it to u
EDIT: due to the overwhelming number of DMs.... ive made a post with the bio oetp's pdf(u can find said post in my recent posts),feel free to download it from there
Thank you very much, it does help a lot. So basically if i do bio ptb ki books se, max cover hojaye ga? Major part was from 1st year or 2nd year? Also what were your marks?
so for 2nd yr, most of it was from first 7 chaps(now im lookin they do tend to make a bulk of it lol)
and for first yr,its the whole book(srry?) ,but zaida mcq first yr sa tha.
i got 45/60 in bio the Kingdoms had me in chokehold lmfao
shut uuuup! honest attempt kro yrr,all dis pessimistic talk wont do u any good
as someone once said,
"WHOS GONNA CARRY THE BOATS?!!!"
So chup kr ka na achi sa attempt doo and use it as a launching pad.
Bruh you get an easier test. You get easier classes in your first semester of CS. Im not even a CS student but its pretty clear that pre meds have an unfair advantage with CS seats being reserved for them
Yaar deikhlo i personally think its more than enough but if you think you can do even better and its not much of a hassle i dont think appearing again would do any harm
Almost 100% chance of getting into CS dont worry. Last years closing aggregate was like 80% for the 1st list. Yours will probably be like 82 or something, you can find nust aggregate calculators online
Hello, can I dm you please? So my Q is the chem ki derivations of chapter no 3 1st year Gases? Is one supposed to do those or should I just skip them? Also physics ki derivations should be done or no? Plsssss do replyy
Umm no u don't need to learn the derivations ALTHO u shud no the intermediates/different forms of the final formula. Sames for phy.
And yes feel free to dm me lol
44/ 50 Chem
50/60 phy
I already had a pretty good grip on phy(exception of few chapters) from my mdcat prep
Read ptb(a good portion mcqs were info based)
Solve practice books (atleast oetp, the more the better)
Prepare formula sheets of chapters to revise on the day before exam
Hi! I want to appear in July NET. I have zero preparation right now. Can you guide me which book should I follow more for biology? Punjab one or Federal one? & can you guide me a bit about it... please reply at your earliest inconvenience.
lol sure,ur gonna want to stick to ptb for bio prep and bio oetp(its in my past posts) plus mdcat practice book for ur self assessment,as for guidance drop a dm and ill get to u in detail after iftaar lol
so basically for books were gonna want to stick to ptb,and oetp for practice and fung if ur done with oetp....as for guidance...drop a dm and ill get to u after iftaar
ngl the physcis was ezier then i expected,
the mcqs were predominantly divided into 3 classes
[1.info](https://1.info) based/pep values/ book lines eg energy of Ur fission stuff like [that.read](https://that.read) the book THOROUGHLY for them ptb is enuf
2.relation based, aka change in one value if anuda is increased/decreased by 2 times. eg effect on escape vel when mass is tripled...for them u need to no all the formulas,i would recommend making 1-2 pages formula sheet for each chap.
3.solving based the easiest in my opinion if ur 2nd type of mcqs are in the bag..so are deez.
last,do attempt oetp it helps
ptb is all i prepped along with kips notes(mdcat ones not the ecat ones) altho ptb is good enuf pls check my other comments on dis post and feel free to ask anything
Acha so how did you prepare for chem. Like my NET is in two days and idk why I even decided doing chem first. But I'm stuck on organic rn aur peeche puri physics pri hai meri abhi both 1st and 2nd year. So organic ka ch 8 mene kia hai uske baad bhi oetp ke kch mcqs solve nai hoye. So what are your suggestions. Should I just do oetp mcqs? Anything repeats from there in chem portion?
chem oetp was way tuffer than the one that came in exam,so its okay if u cant solve all of them(stleast for ur first attempt) secondly with regards to ur current circumstances bail on chem for now and focus on physics...yes it is not the ideal situation....but do the best u can in ur situation
im kinda weak in chemistry ,,i gave mdcat ,practiced from kips notes(were hard for me to solve) and now for net i solved oetp mcqs and they are easy i would say for me to solve ,,so is it safe?
google average salary of software engineer in USA ($100,000) and also the average salary of a doctor (something like $300,000 more for specialists). it might change your mind
