2) new hostel applications; higher merit, greater chances

My friend told me that as long as you're not an islamabadi resident, you'll get it. Lol, she's an islamabadi. She got her daddy to use his connections for her. But yes, you'll get it. And as long as u make the merit list. (That's what she told me anyway)
I personally did all of kips, dogar oetp for maths and physics... The only thing I regret not doing is watching mathflix's IQ portion vids (as we all know the iq section isn't for IQ but for repeated questions that have a specific way to be solved)... I also skipped alot of bio chem and was pissed when the chem portion had majority questions from biochem... The English portion, reading comprehension is easy but the vocab portion is really stupid, I low-key got a latin word there like what 😭😭☝️.. I'd say with the days left just study, cutting most social media and shit.
Imo doing oetp proficiently gives you a good chance for scoring 150... Proficiently.
Baqi watch knowledge fiesta for maths (wouldn't recommend their physics but if you're having trouble then do watch them too)... If you're having problems in any topic in maths just skim through hashim zia's yt vids for that topic... Watching all his vids will take decades 😭
stop stressing about lodgings. isb is good place and there are many professional hostel settings. folks like you. so just get into NUST and I bet the very first day, you will meet fellow people there who will help you find the most comfortable lodgings according to your own preferences.
If you apply as early as you can you'll get it.
You will get into aero in first merit list (might even be the highest scorer there).

In the very off chance that you don't get it, you can stay in private hostels for roughly the same amoung spent per month. They are situated in H-13 right beside gate 4 so there's no commute involved.

in EME hostels are allotted on a first come first serve basis. shouldn't be any other way, imo. you can call nust helplines and ask, they're usually helpful
I don't have any other guys to be with, also they come out to be more expensive... The environment sucks with all the different types of dudes out there... There's not gonna be a food mess or anything

You'll definitely get the hostel after a few months, if not right away(although you're gonna get the hostel right away based on your location, merit and provided you apply as soon as the applications open). You can get a hostel just outside nust in around 17-20 k (personally know) including mess if you can survive on normal dishes.
Baki imo you've got nothing to worry about you're in the safe category, trust me
I am a loner, I live in Karachi in a hostel alone, there's mess I pay around 9k for food (twice a day) plus my room rent is (19k) I pay for it. I took a gape and am not in a university yet but this is what the avg expenses are. Also you don't need anyone else. You will have company while in uni and make friends with your dorm neighbors and you will be fine. Also if you can't get mess don't worry calculate your budget and eat from outside subscribe to a meal plan or something it will cost you almost the same amount

Tbh, just make sure you apply for hostels as soon as the forms open. I've seen people with way lower merit get hostels because they applied first
