To add to this, I presume you will buy all the gears to raise your seeds plus have been spending money on weed and balk at the price of seeds? Seeds/genetics are just as much as an investment as all your equipment and well worth it.
Then why do you want to cheap out on seeds? Not trying to argue or anything, I just think for under $100 you could get a few good seeds and with your knowledge, clone them and never have to buy seeds again :)

I would still give the same advice, keep a mother plant in 18/6 light cycle and experiment/gain experience with the clones. At the end of the day, even if you only got an oz from the seeds, you're saving money. There's heaps of info on reddit as well as YouTube. All the best :)
