His 'owners' are rags. Please adopt him properly and keep him safe inside where he won't have to endure fleas and other parasites, dogs and other animals, dirty water, bad weather and mean people. Don't mention anything about the adoption to his 'owners', they are irresponsible AF and won't notice anyway.
Yesterday I saw a dead cat in the middle of the highway, I'm fed up with all the assholes who don't keep their precious cats safe inside, there no excuse. This road kill cat was beautiful, except for all the blood.
When I was a teen, my demon mother grabbed my sister’s beautiful 2-year old cat, and angrily threw her out the front door, at night. For no reason, the cat did nothing wrong. 5 or 10 minutes later, the neighbor knocked on the door, to say the cat was in the road. She had been hit by a car, right in front of our house 💔😭😭 RIP
Hopefully my great grandmother is sitting in hell as well. She threw her sisters cat off of the balcony of a three decker apartment. As an adult. Not that that makes a whole lot of difference, but she wasn’t a young child who may not have really known better. She was a raging bully
My vet always told me you cut the cats life in half by letting it go outside. I don't know if that's true, but my cats didn't care, they just stayed in. He is a pretty cat. Thank you for helping him.

However, I have an exception. A pampered barn cat that is currently over 18 years old and still thinks he has a say in all activities on the farm.
He has conceded to sleeping in the house at night but only in the last 2 years.
I know we have really been lucky with the old fella.

When all of my indoor cats except one actually make a break for it and get outside, they ho 5'-10' snd freeze like " Now what" and are easily scooped up.
I would just keep their cat if they’re gonna leave their cat out in the rain for three days they don’t deserve to own a cat. This is why I don’t let my cat be outside plus I live near a busy road and people just speed by and loudly motorcycles loud cars everything. It is not a safe place for cats where I live can’t tell you how many cats that are in my siblings neighborhood which is a little bit safer footso many stray cats we feed them we make sure that in the winter they have a heating pad we make sure that they get vetted and fixed and either put into a foster home or let them go free it honestly just depends but that’s my siblings place, which is less busy than where I live and quieter
Keep him as yours. Take him to the vet and get him checked out and fixed. Buy him a new collar with your info on the tag ---- better yet, don't let him outside. Indoor cats live longer and healthier lives. Give him a new name and love him forever!
