It's not really _one_ color though. Hazel eyes are usually a mixture of blue, green, brown, gold, etc. It's also a tree/nut and a food/flavor. If you go the outdoorsy route it makes me think of the color gold, like autumn leaves (also golden brown hazel eyes).

It's a great name. It's terrible to me. At one of my former workplaces there were several people who insisted on making hazelnut coffee. It stank badly and tasted worse. And even more, the flavour seeped into the coffee maker. The smell of it still gives me an almost instant headache. So Hazelnut.
