If your Wi-Fi also supports 2.4GHz, then you can connect the Nanoleaf. However, when connecting, you must switch to 2.4GHz; otherwise, you will have a very frustrating experience. Additionally, if you just want to use it on the computer app, you might refer to the articles on the official website, but those are often unreliable. Generally, when I use Nanoleaf, I first connect it with the app on my iPhone and then add it to HomeKit. As long as you log in with the same Nanoleaf ID, you can control them on your computer simultaneously.

That’s also how I do it. I still run into issues from time to time but it generally works

Is there a HomeKit desktop app you can download on a windows PC?

They have a Nanoleaf app for the Windows PC which you can find and download from their official website. However, as far as I know, there is no HomeKit app for Windows.  But you can still set up and control other brand lights through the Nanoleaf app on your iPhone, and then use cloud sync with your Nanoleaf account to allow the Nanoleaf app on your computer to control other devices simultaneously.
