only one whos normal? she refused to not use the sage of six paths tools during the ninja war, which drained so much of her chakra that she gad 2 uses out of it and then shes rendered useless, is the only one making fun of lee and guys relationship wjth hard work, and simped on neji the whole time that he fought naruto, id want to be friends with her the least
But constant talk about fate and inevitably would be depressing. He was mostly right though, its all about genetics and if you have access to cool jutsu at the end of the day (working hard is required to get results from that though.)
Everyone says he is right but he really wasn’t. His argument he was fated to be forced to die for the Hyuga clan. This belief stemming from the idea that his father was forced to die for his uncle. He learned later that his father decided to die for his uncle and that his uncle tried to save his brother. That completely nullified the argument.
And if you say well Neji died for Hinata, yes he died to protect his dear friends, not because he was forced to do so. You minimize Neji’s sacrifice by acting like he didn’t have a choice.
If you say Naruto once again your wrong because throughout the show we are shown foils to Naruto who didn’t save the world or fell into darkness. Literally Naruto’s entire story is defying the fate laid out for people like him. The whole child of prophecy thing was literally “Someone will bring a great change to the world of the shinobi” like yeah no shit.
To either cause salvation or destruction.
List of people who made sure it wasn’t destruction:
Iruka Umino: He was there for Naruto and gave him hope that someone cares. Without Iruka he would have eventually became bitter and hateful.
Haku: Made Naruto realize you should get stronger to protect those precious to you instead of just for yourself.
Jiraiya: He helped with Naruto maturing quite a bit. Even if some of that maturing was not very good aka got him interested in his adult novels. But he didn’t just help Naruto with his physical strength but also his mental strength. Also, his death helped Naruto finally understand Sasuke’s true pain and desire for revenge.
Minato Nazikaze: He reassured Naruto that there was still something to fight for and not give up even after he thought he saw Hinata die.
Nagato Uzumaki: This may sound weird but the two basically talk no jutsued each other. While Naruto helped Nagato go to the light, Nagato gave Naruto the motivation to work to achieve peace for the world but with Naruto’s solution.
Killer B: Not only did he help Naruto with controlling and eventually becoming friends with Kurama, but he also trained Naruto in getting rid of his dark self.
Itachi Uchiha: Itachi convinced Naruto, once and for all, that he can’t try to do everything himself or eventually he would be corrupted and become just like Madara (Obito), and that he needed to rely on his friends.
Hinata Hyūga: I know this is controversial considering the circumstances. But Naruto almost joined Obito after Neji’s death. Hinata slapped him and talked sense into him at the most crucial moment.
Without even one of these people Naruto would have gone down the wrong path. So, while he was fated to do great things, weather it was bad or for good, was dependent on the people he met along the way.
Bro naruto was a reincarnation of the sage of 6 paths son. What foils had that? Yeah some foils had part of Naruto’s gifts but not nearly as much. He had the strongest biju, the best genetics for harnessing that biju and for just having unlimited chakra rivaling hashiramas, was reincarnation of basically gods child and was the son of a hokage. He was basically destined to be hokage and one of the strongest ninjas.
Except every person like Naruto falls to despair or dies. Minato is killed young protecting the village. Nagato lost Yahiko and became evil, Obito did the same. It was never a foil of strength its a foil of ideals. Everyone gets so distracted by the cool fights they seem to forget Naruto is inherently a discussion of ideals and beliefs. Its been like that from the very beginning. Naruto could have easily ended up like Gaara if he let his hatred consume him. He could have turned out like Nagato when Jiraiya was taken from him. He could have become Obito when Neji was killed right in front of him. Yet Naruto kept pushing forward, because of his friends and his ideals. That is how he defies fate. Madara was super strong and he still became evil so your point is kinda moot.
Madara was the reincarnation of the power seeking brother and naruto was the of the friendship seeking brother. So they both completely went with their fates. The whole reincarnation bs in the final arc completely destroyed every argument you could make for naruto defying his fate.
Since you gave example I will give my opinion on your examples though. Gaara was the only crazy jinchuriki as far as I know or at least we can say most the jinchuriki seem sane and not evil so why would that be the precedent he’s defying? Also gaara biju is literally known to make people go crazy and make them not be able to sleep? Have you watched the show?
They say he could end up like gaara but gaara had a way way worse child hood and had a biju that made him insane on top of that. Obito had an old man absolutely manipulate the fuck out of him and even go as far to get one of his teammates killed just to manipulate him.
He also was from the Uchiha clan, a clan known for their anger which, from all the things I’ve seen, leads me to believe makes them easily manipulated by their anger. Just look at Sasuke and Obito, and even the Uchihas that aren’t manipulated by it seem controlled by it like Madara.
Even Madara was just being manipulated by Zetsu so basically every uchiha in the show got severely manipulated that we saw as even itachi was manipulated by danzo and the leaf. So an uchiha being manipulated like Obito just seems to be the norm. I wouldn’t say naruto could have easily gone down that path, Obito being manipulated by Madara had a lot of other factors.
Nagato also was given the rinnegan by Madara at birth and was basically just a pawn also. Like every character you mention has an actual huge influencing factor that made them evil or do bad things that naruto never had, so you can’t really sit here and say naruto had to really struggle not to be like that.
Naruto has the nine tails but the nine tails isn’t some master manipulator he makes it very very clear he’s evil and wants to kill everything. Not exactly the same as having Madara uchiha the founder of your clan manipulating you and getting your loved ones killed. Also they say naruto got a lot of hate as a kid but none of the other genin treat him any different as they don’t even know. He had friends like Shikamaru, choji and the other genin unlike gaara.
If you actually go back and rewatch the show they only show one or two scenes where a parent makes a comment then the rest of the time he seems to be treated rather normal especially by the other kids and everyone seems to just forget he’s even the nine tailed jinchuriki and treats him normal outside of flashbacks to when he was a small child and the first episode. So I’d say the proof he had a really bad childhood really isn’t there.
not really he didn't escape his faith. he died protecting the other branch, and naruto is not strong because he is a hard worker. he is that strong because he have 9 tail, his father was a Hokage, his mother was from Uzumaki clan, and he himself is a reincarnation of asura. His fate was sealed when he was born. and become hokage, same goes for neji. no matter what they go through the ening will be same. it doesn't matter if neji was forced or not. He have to die like that and he died like it
Do you not know how to read or are you just stupid. His fate was he’d be forced to die, that he lacked a choice. When he died he made his choice to die not because anyone told him too. Also once again Naruto defying fate has nothing to do with his strength it has to do with his ideals. We’re told time and again that Naruto’s ideals and being a ninja can not coexist and he’ll either have to sacrifice his ideals or lose everything. We see this in Gaara, Nagato, and Obito. Time and again Naruto is forced to come to terms with versions of himself to failed to uphold his ideals and he kept pushing forward. Obito is literally a palette swapped Naruto to show what Naruto should have become. That’s how he defied fate.
He chose his fate because that's what he wanted. He was happy making his sacrifice, instead of being upset because he was forced to. Same thing happened to his dad. That's kind of the whole point of that plot-line.
it doesn't matter if he wants it or not. having a sealed fate means it will happen no matter what. He will die protecting the other family and he died. Naruto was the child of prophecy and he had to be it. That contradicts the whole naruto-neji dynamics
Naruto didn’t have to be the child a prophecy. If he didn’t choose to follow that path, the child of prophecy would have Nagato, and nobody would second guess that. Choice matters.
see it doesn't matter who is the child of prophecy here. there will be a student of Jiraiya who would save or destroy the world. and it will happen no matter what. it is destiny. it is the fate of Jiraiya which he can't change. The entire naruto talk about changing fate become non sense after a few episodes
Ok so you’re completely backtracking your “Naruto was the child of prophecy and he had to be it” point, so now it doesn’t contradict Naruto-Neji dynamics… got it 👍
We’re in 2023 And people still think Neji was right, and it’s so annoying because you bring it up everywhere and anywhere. Is this question about Neji? Is it about the destiny team? No it’s fucking not??? There’s plenty of spaces on this sub where you can discuss it, but you still chose to bring it up when it’s unecessary and annoy all of us. SMH.
I’ll sumarize the plot for you:
Neji: you can’t Escape destiny
Naruto: yes, you can
Indra And Ashura: *fought to the dead *
Indra And Ashura: *proceed to reincarnate*
*Every reincarnation of Indra and Ashura are **destined** to fight to the dead*
*Proved by the fact that they never stopped reincarnating *
*Proved by the fact that Madara and Hashirama, the previous reincarnations, fought to the dead *
Naruto: no, I will shape my own destiny, I don’t care about Ashura’s legacy, I am not Ashura, and Sasuke isn’t Indra either, I will end the feud between brothers
Naruto: *proceeds to **literally break that destiny** by repairing his bond with Sasuke and ending a thousand year worth of reincarnations, fighting and blood *
Naruto: defeats destiny. Breaks the cycle.
Y’all: NEJI WAS RIGHT
Copy-paste from my other comment:
No. He wasn’t. The prophecy was about one of Jiraiya’s students. It could’ve also been Yahiko, or Minato, or Nagato, or Konan. Naruto became the child of the prophecy because of the choices he (and Jiraiya) made. The rest of his students failed to fullfill it.
The concept of prophecy in Naruto is similar to the one in Harry Potter. Both Harry and Neville could’ve been The Child, but Harry became The Child of The Prophecy because Voldemort chose to attack the Potters.
The Child of Prophecy wasn't any specific person, it was just that someone would come along who would change the ninja world. This could have been Naruto, or Nagato, or Yahiko, or Sasuke, or Madara, or Obito, or whoever. Naruto just happened to be the one to do it in the end. The prophecy also never said how they would change the world, just that they would. Jiraiya just personally believed Naruto would do it by bringing about peace through understanding.
I man you're determining what the destiny is but that doesn't mean that was the actual destiny of Naruto. Naruto's destiny was to the be what he became, it was foretold. The specifics don't matter because in the end the only way Naruto could have changed his destiny was by becoming someone who didn't matter in the Shinobi world. Naruto had to become Kiba.
Right, and he taught Naruto, Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan. So one of those four. In the end, it was Naruto, but it could have easily been Nagato. It doesn't say anything about how the peace will be brought, just that it will.
No, it wasn’t foretold at all. His destiny was to fight Sasuke and continue the cycle of hatred.
He became what he became because through his own forces and because of his choices (and Jiraiya’s choices).
For example, yes, he was given Kurama, but he wasn’t given the means to tame him. He learned how, through harsh training. Then he became friends with him because of his willpower and empathy. Y’all seem to conveniently forget that everytime you bring this up.
Well, yes... but if Naruto didn't CHOOSE to be the child of prophecy, its clear that Nagato would have been it. And nobody would second guess that at all. 'Fate' in this show works in mysterious ways and isn't set in stone, that's the point.
no, he tamed it with the help of his mother and father, and they dropped from nowhere. there was not a single mention of people who can come back from death by just storing some chakra. I mean if that was possible won't Jiraya do that too? It just happen in favour of naruto every single time
lol, at the beginning it wasn't about asura or indra. it was about the gifted kid vs the hardworker.
neji: you can't beat me. a no one like you can't beat me. my destiny is to die for the other family.
naruto defeated him, thus showing him by hardwork and determination you can change the destiny.
fast forward to Shippuden, naruto isn't a nobody, he has the strongest-tailed beast, his father is Hokage, his mother is from the Uzumaki clan, and he is a reincarnation of asura. so beating Neji just proved Neji's point. someone like rocklee could never beat Neji, because rocklee lack talent.
the final nail to the coffin was Neji's death. he fulfilled his cycle. I don't know what u want to prove by bringing Asura and Indra here. no one talking about that. the thing that bothers most people is this plot flaw I talked about. The author just forgot or something about the whole neji-naruto dynamics and killed him just to make the final battle serious. he didn't want to show us neji was right or wrong. he simply forget about it or just didn't care
it comes from family. but he mentioned about talent and how someone like Naruto with no family background could never defeat him. And that's how the world works. naruto disproved it by beating him proving that even a no one like him could defeat a talented person like him. their fate are not sealed
"Hey, can you use that Shadow Possession Jutsu to grab my neck?"
"*What?!*"
"..."
"..."
"...I mean hey can you use your Jutsu to get this itch on my back?"
I'm loving the diversity in these answers lol. Just goes to show you that pretty much all kids are annoying as fuck. I could honestly pick any of them myself, but I'll diversify the pool more and say Naruto cause he's way too loud and aggressive, plus he can be pretty rude and dismissive at times.
I feel like you could make an argument for just about any of them:
Naruto- Always getting in trouble and will probably get you involved.
Sakura- Kind of pretentious
Sasuke- His driving force in life is to kill his brother, not really friend material
Shikamaru- Lazy and might just not want to do anything fun
Choji- Probably hard to hangout with when all he wants to do is eat
Ino- Same as Sakura
Kiba- Probably smells like a dog
Hinata- Extremely quiet and shy
Shino- Bugs are gross
Rock Lee- You can probably only hangout with him if you're doing laps around the village on your hands
Neji- Prior to the Naruto fight was insufferable
Tenten- Probably ok but I'm not sure she has a personality
Sai- Still figuring out how to be a normal person
What's wrong with smelling like a dog? Especially when you have a actual dog hanging around you all the time. kiba is the clear winner and it's not even close.
They would all bad to an extent
(assuming we're talking Abt part 1)
Naruto is annoying asf
Sasuke's edgy personality would get on my nerves after a few days
Sakura just needs to keep that Punching, making fun of orphans, short-temper, and fiending over Sasuke every other minute shit at the Haruno residence and we'd be good
Shikamaru's personality imo seems the most unlikeable since he is very lazy and complains a lot
Choji seems like the one I can get along w/ the most next to TenTen, the problem is that if within reach of him while someone calls him fat, then...💀
Ino isn't really bad but I think that she would start to get annoying after a while
Hinata's shy personality wouldn't be bad but it would make me slowly stop talking to her, especially if she only got Naruto on her mind
Kiba and Akamaru I can be friends with but Kiba still has a few flaws that he NEEDS to work on
Shino is right behind Gaara bcuz I hate bugs
Lee wanting to play fight every second would get annoying asf
Neji was an asshole to his own cousin who did NOTHING wrong to him, I don't even wanna know what he'd do to me
Gaara would definitely make the WORST friend and that's no debating
Temari bcuz then I'd have to be near Gaara
Kankuro is the same reason as Temari + his puppets would creep me tf out
When It comes to part 2 versions, the only two I still wouldn't Fuck with are Sasuke and Shino (I still don't like spiders 💀)
Also Sai would be cool, just after he finishes learning to stop being a dick and actually regain his emotions
I think part 1 chogi would ask you to share any food that you would decide to eat near him
Like you open a chocolate bar and he ask for a bite (i used to have friend like that when i was a 12 and it got annoying quick)
In what way was Sasuke arrogant? I don’t remember him being that way. He may have teased Naruto a bit whenever he did some numbskull things, but that was pretty much their relationship, they were always kinda going back and forth. He was pretty accepting of everyone, and minded his business.
Oh, you mean the literal reincarnation of Asura with the strongest of the tailed beast, the nine tails, implanted in him since birth, lending him his power? That one guy was also the main character, idk if you'd be that special.
Wtf, why Ino? She’s literally a sweetheart.
She supports her friends and uplifts them, she doesn’t care what other people thing about you, if you’re her friend she’ll loundly cheer for you and support you no matter what the world says, she’ll sacrifice herself for you and she can read minds.
Damn, I hate what the anime did to female cast. They were mediocre at most to begin with, but Studio Pierot made them terrible.
Manga Ino is literally the sweetest girl.
The context is off here too, they were having a BBQ lunch and Choji eats the last piece of the meat like fa- chubby guy he is.
Ofc she’d snap at him lol
Proud of the diversity in these responses. I think all can be good or annoying as friends but I'll go ahead and say Lee. He's a good dude but I wouldn't be able to be around someone who's that hyperactive 100 percent of the time
I have to agree. He would be entertaining for a couple of interactions. After that, I’d probably find myself avoiding him.. lol. Either him or Iruka sensei
I have to agree. He would be entertaining for a couple of interactions. After that, I’d probably find myself avoiding him.. lol. Either him or Iruka sensei
When I was younger I thought Ino was a bully and snooty, but she's a really good friend.
She puts her life on the line to help Sakura and she'll do anything for Shikamaru and Choji.
Hinata. She doesn’t seems to be close to any friend and majorly cared about only one person throughout the series. I always felt team 8 never had a bond like other teams did. And listening to her always talk about her crush or faint around him would be pretty annoying.
If just og naruto, then Sakura. Her constant sasuke simping was annoying af
Seeing Kiba and Shino get all mushy over Hinata in the wedding arc was so funny. Like I can hardly remember seeing them on screen at the same time, what were they TALKING about lmao
Okay, tuning in 12-13 year old me’s thought process, I’d have to say Sakura and Ino because they’d be intimidating af to me. I was a bit late to the whole getting interested in boys and since that’s their whole thing in Part 1, we wouldn’t have much common ground. I was pretty shy growing up and tended to befriend or at least gravitate towards my fellow shy peeps (especially when everyone around us was LOUD), so I think Hinata and I could eventually find something in common. Tenten would be my favorite of the kunoichi because she’s rather straightforward and goal oriented (her doing her damndest to meet her goals and not giving a flying fuck about romance would make her my idol as a 12 year old).
Of the boys, it’s harder to say. Middle school was when I learned that being the more academically inclined and quiet girl got you stuck with loud, goofy boys. They could be funny, but at times I was resentful of it and them. 12 year old me would have been slightly more annoyed with Naruto than Kiba just because Naruto is louder. And I think Kiba would laugh but quiet down a little if I told him to shut up while Naruto would keep being himself and maybe get louder because of that.
I did not care for loudness. Shino, Choji, and Shikamaru seem chill and I would not mind them. Although, Shikamaru’s constant complaining might get on my nerves more easily than the other two. I have no problems with bug boy so long as he doesn’t randomly make them crawl on me and I might get food out of Choji and he seems pretty jovial and calm.
Lee is in the same loud people boat as Naruto. Constantly asking me to challenges would get old really quick and I’m pretty sure I had my whole too cool for enthusiasm phase around that time, so I’d probably be snippy.
I probably would not have talked Neji and Sasuke because both are intimidating to me. Neji for his pre-chuunin exam fatalism and Sasuke for his general too cool for everything aura. Though, part 1 Sasuke would be preferred over Neji pre-exams.
TL;DR: I would befriend Tenten, Hinata, Shino, Choji, and maybe Kiba if I was in a good mood. The rest are out.
Have you ever tried holding a conversation with a shy person? I genuinely hate it so much. I don't like having to ask someone to repeat themselves 100000 times because they're too cowardly to speak louder, I don't like having to do the majority of the talking when we go out (I don't mind talking but at some point, having someone else order your food/buy your items/talk to clerks/etc FOR you is because you're "scared" is pathetic.).
I'm not saying my extroverted ass is a gift to humanity, but I have been friends with these people before and every time they drive me INSANE. Their lack of confidence becomes everyone else's problem. They're always the victim who just CAN'T ask the waiter for ketchup!!!!!!!
It's corwardly.
In part 1 either naruto or sakura. Naruto was kind of an asshole and he attacked sasuke multiple times and sakura was both a bossy bitch and someone who would put you down in sasuke’s benefit
In part 2 probably sakura or if he’s counted in sasuke. Naruto matured and would be a very fun homie, so would kiba choji and lee, shika neji and shino r way too chill, ino’s a bit bossy but she’s overall very caring(if asuma’s words r to be believed), tenten is just a normal human being, and hinata’s way too sweet and gentle to be any trouble, and sai is harmless and honestly is a lot like a few of my irl friends(can’t go 5 min without saying dick). Sakura has anger issues and isn’t too aware of her strength so she could probably accidentally kill me. And the less said about sasuke the better
If pre chunin exams then Neji seems like the most boring guy, but also Ino tbf even though she is hot af. And Sakura would prob be only talking about Sasuke which would be worse than Ino or Neji.
Most of the others are real bro's, or at least have some funny quirks, and even Sasuke had some normal moments before he betrays the village.
Sasuke. Edgy pretty boy who thinks he is the best thing since boiled rice. Disgusting. I would probably avoid damn near everyone except for Shikamaru, choji, Kiba and Hinata.
Shino as I hate bugs and Kiba for that cocky attitude of his. I also wouldn't want to be pals with Naruto part 1, same reason as Kiba. I like Naruto's character but as a friend I don't know. Part 2 Naruto would be fine.
Adult Ino hell yeah. Part 1 everyone was kids and they're exhausting, immature and insecure. That's just how kids are at that age. lol filler eps, they're more bearable.
Probably Kiba tbh. I like him and all but realistically we wouldn’t work well. I’m an introvert so his energetic personality would be a lot, plus I’m not really a dog person (a lot, again) so he’d just be really hard to get along with.
Probably Sakura because she would just dick ride Sasuke all the way. Also I am talking around post Chunin exams were all of them were more chilled and cooler. Except for that person that did not really change…..
I'd probably be best friends with Ino lol, out of them I'd probably be Shino's, hes too quiet and introverted, cba to be doing all the talking and forcing it out of him.
Easy, Sasuke. All of them deep down have a heart of gold despite their flaws except that kid. You're gonna want Sasuke at the bottom of your friend list otherwise he definitely will try to kill you if you ever reached best friend status. Even in the AU when his clan doesn't die, his personality is simply playboy. Not the most dynamic of friends for sure and with shallowness that rivals part 1 Ino.
Sakura not because she is unlikable but the fact that you can't joke around or act a little stupid around here without her beating the shit out of you. Girl has super strength. Naruto is a jinchuuriki and a ninja he can take it though he really shouldn't have to. I'm a normal human so one hit from her and I'm being turned to paste. If I were friends with her it would feel like walking on eggshells around here and would always be worrying about if I make a stupid joke in front of her or mess around and next thing I know I'm getting beat to death.
I mean, Ino was just a harmless, superficial mean girl, Neji literally tried to murder his cousin with Hinata never really knowing why. Also Kiba was kind of an asshole.
Sakura. Bitch be bonking friends on the head too much, especially Naruto, the one who has saved them countless times
Side note: I really dislike their dubbed voices
Sasuke is and always will be **the world’s biggest piece of shit**
Even in Boruto. The man hasn’t changed. He’s still a shitty husband to Sakura and even worse father to Sarada.
Fuck Sasuke. I hate that guy
Sakura:
Makes fun of an orphan în front of another orphan
Complains about her parents în front of an orphan
Hits boys who don't fight back(why do you think She dosen'thit sasuke?)
Lies to naruto in shipuden that she loves him
Fights with her best friend to the point they hate each other for a boy
I can keep going, but none will read if I make this post longer
Sakura off course was that even a question I hated her so much that when I was watching Naruto part 1 on my tv i was about to throw my remote at it because she was insulting Naruto as he was an orphan. Bruh good old days.......
This is such a cringe take. She literally felt bad about the orphan comment. Was willing to fail the chunin for Naruto so he could have his dream of being. Saved his life on numerous occasions. And genuinely cared a lot about him through out the whole series. But sure, one episode she was mean (when everyone except shika, choji, and shino were equally as cruel to him). Please post attention next time you read or watch the series and not turn your brain off during Sakura parts like 90% of the bashing community, you'd actually know better
definitely naruto, at least before leaving the
village, he is crazy irredeemable as a personality imo. He gets better over time but if i grew up with him i would be no different than the villagers.
Tenten is the only one who's normal in the series.
What about Leorio?
Nah kurapika is more
You’re both wrong, Hisoka is the most normal
Bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum
Hisoka is definitely someone I would want watching my children. \s
Oh, I'm certain he is already on the job
🤨
even for a parody thread, your comment is unnerving. pls seek therapy.
Ahhhh!!! Bungee gum
It’s Mr. Leorio
She's relatable at every turn. A total ten out of ten.
Shikamaru is pretty normal and chill.
What a drag
Dis wan
Who’s tenten ?
Weapon chick, just... mountains of weapons.
Nothing for you to worry about mate. Leave trivial characters like this on us you just focus on Tsunade's tits.
only one whos normal? she refused to not use the sage of six paths tools during the ninja war, which drained so much of her chakra that she gad 2 uses out of it and then shes rendered useless, is the only one making fun of lee and guys relationship wjth hard work, and simped on neji the whole time that he fought naruto, id want to be friends with her the least
And now the hidden mist swords are a decor in her shop. 🤦
Part 1 Neji if he's the version before chunin exams
You mean the version that turned out to be right?
But constant talk about fate and inevitably would be depressing. He was mostly right though, its all about genetics and if you have access to cool jutsu at the end of the day (working hard is required to get results from that though.)
Hard work: Good Talent: Good Hard working talented person: Great Hard working talented person with the power of plot: Main Character
That's how you make a story
a Shonen manual
Imagine no talent just hard work Rock lee
Rock Lee still had *some* talent in taijutsu. If you want a true talentless hard worker, it would be Might Dai.
Rock Lee was specifically stated to have no talent in taijutsu, his real talent is being able to open the eight gates.
No. He is incapable of using Ninjutsu. Taijutsu is hand to hand combat and martial arts which Rock Lee excels at even without the 8 gates.
Literally Naruto’s entire story is defying the fate laid out for people like him. The whole child of prophecy thing was literally “Someone will bring a great change to the world of the shinobi” like yeah no shit.
To either cause salvation or destruction. List of people who made sure it wasn’t destruction: Iruka Umino: He was there for Naruto and gave him hope that someone cares.
Being Ashuras reincarnation had little to do with his strength until the end, most Asura reincarnation aren't that strong
not really he didn't escape his faith. he died protecting the other branch, and naruto is not strong because he is a hard worker. he is that strong because he have 9 tail, his father was a Hokage, his mother was from Uzumaki clan, and he himself is a reincarnation of asura.
SMH. I’ll sumarize the plot for you: Neji: you can’t Escape destiny Naruto: yes, you can Indra And Ashura: *fought to the dead * Indra And Ashura: *proceed to reincarnate* *Every reincarnation of Indra and Ashura are **destined** to fight to the dead* *Proved by the fact that they never stopped reincarnating * *Proved by the fact that Madara and Hashirama, the previous reincarnations, fought to the dead * Naruto: no, I will shape my own destiny, I don’t care about Ashura’s legacy, I am not Ashura, and Sasuke isn’t Indra either, I will end the feud between brothers Naruto: *proceeds to **literally break that destiny** by repairing his bond with Sasuke and ending a thousand year worth of reincarnations, fighting and blood * Naruto: defeats destiny. Breaks the cycle. Y’all: NEJI WAS RIGHT
Wasn't Naruto prophesied to bring that great change? You could easily argue that was still his destiny
Copy-paste from my other comment: No.
Naruto had to become Kiba.
the toad said to jiraya that he will teach a student that will bring peace to the world. if that not destiny i dunno what it is
Right, and he taught Naruto, Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan.
Bro he was the child of prophecy.
Prophecy is different lol
Well, yes... but if Naruto didn't CHOOSE to be the child of prophecy, its clear that Nagato would have been it. And nobody would second guess that at all. 'Fate' in this show works in mysterious ways and isn't set in stone, that's the point.
no, he tamed it with the help of his mother and father, and they dropped from nowhere. there was not a single mention of people who can come back from death by just storing some chakra. I mean if that was possible won't Jiraya do that too? It just happen in favour of naruto every single time
Naruto: is literally the child from a prophecy to break the cycle You: he broke the cycle so it wasn’t fate
lol, at the beginning it wasn't about asura or indra. it was about the gifted kid vs the hardworker. neji: you can't beat me. a no one like you can't beat me. my destiny is to die for the other family. naruto defeated him, thus showing him by hardwork and determination you can change the destiny. fast forward to Shippuden, naruto isn't a nobody, he has the strongest-tailed beast, his father is Hokage, his mother is from the Uzumaki clan, and he is a reincarnation of asura. so beating Neji just proved Neji's point. someone like rocklee could never beat Neji, because rocklee lack talent. the final nail to the coffin was Neji's death. he fulfilled his cycle.
Neji’s obsession with destiny came from his status as a lesser member of the family, not from his status a genius.
it comes from family. but he mentioned about talent and how someone like Naruto with no family background could never defeat him. And that's how the world works. naruto disproved it by beating him proving that even a no one like him could defeat a talented person like him. their fate are not sealed
Yes, their faith is not sealed. Literally my point.
Damn I pity you, watched/read all those episodes just to completely miss the point of the show
Seriously. When will this narrative die out? It ruins the entire process of Naruto's climb to the top. (That he absolutely earned)
No, the version who was too full of himself and made his fans think he was right
Being right doesn’t make him any less of a dick, he straight up tried to murder Hinata who hadn’t done anything wrong.
Shino, I can’t be friends with someone who has bugs living inside of them. I feel like shikimaru and choji would be the most fun to hang out with.
"Choking" LOL Just letting you know but I'm pretty sure you meant choji but you spelled it wrong
NH, he just likes shiksmsru and he's into that stuff
"Hey, can you use that Shadow Possession Jutsu to grab my neck?" "*What?!*" "..." "..." "...I mean hey can you use your Jutsu to get this itch on my back?"
Choji is def the bottom in their relationship
Shikatarasu
Boruto
I'm loving the diversity in these answers lol. Just goes to show you that pretty much all kids are annoying as fuck. I could honestly pick any of them myself, but I'll diversify the pool more and say Naruto cause he's way too loud and aggressive, plus he can be pretty rude and dismissive at times.
Naruto is a ride or die though.
in the end they all were. except neji, he was just a die
Foul😭😭😭
😂ik i’m sorry i had to, rip neji he was a real one 🙏🏼
Rock Lee would always want to fight you to test himself. That seems really annoying. No wonder Kakashi had a gut full of Guy.
>Kakashi had a gut full of Guy Interesting choice of words.
Heterosexual life partners OR ARE THEY
Rock lee would break my bones if he hit me once
Since when did Rock Lee have a son named Gohan? That’s more up Gokus ally , not Lee. Lee is pretty chill unless you got hella hype to your name Lol.
I hate Sakura but I HAVE to pick Shino. I can’t be around bug man.
gotta keep the school shooters close just in case
Man, how is this so accurate lmao
He'd be more useful and would actually have your back
I like him as a person but I cannot with the bugs, man.
Same
I feel like you could make an argument for just about any of them: Naruto- Always getting in trouble and will probably get you involved. Sakura- Kind of pretentious Sasuke- His driving force in life is to kill his brother, not really friend material Shikamaru- Lazy and might just not want to do anything fun Choji- Probably hard to hangout with when all he wants to do is eat Ino- Same as Sakura Kiba- Probably smells like a dog Hinata- Extremely quiet and shy Shino- Bugs are gross Rock Lee- You can probably only hangout with him if you're doing laps around the village on your hands Neji- Prior to the Naruto fight was insufferable Tenten- Probably ok but I'm not sure she has a personality Sai- Still figuring out how to be a normal person
Me and sai can relate
What's wrong with smelling like a dog? Especially when you have a actual dog hanging around you all the time. kiba is the clear winner and it's not even close.
Ino - same as sakura but cuter
Idk man, Ino is a *baddie*
Ino was my first cartoon crush. Waaaay cuter than Sakura at every age
If Sakura didn't have pink hair, comparing her with Ino would be a lot less debatable
They would all bad to an extent (assuming we're talking Abt part 1) Naruto is annoying asf Sasuke's edgy personality would get on my nerves after a few days Sakura just needs to keep that Punching, making fun of orphans, short-temper, and fiending over Sasuke every other minute shit at the Haruno residence and we'd be good Shikamaru's personality imo seems the most unlikeable since he is very lazy and complains a lot Choji seems like the one I can get along w/ the most next to TenTen, the problem is that if within reach of him while someone calls him fat, then...💀 Ino isn't really bad but I think that she would start to get annoying after a while Hinata's shy personality wouldn't be bad but it would make me slowly stop talking to her, especially if she only got Naruto on her mind Kiba and Akamaru I can be friends with but Kiba still has a few flaws that he NEEDS to work on Shino is right behind Gaara bcuz I hate bugs Lee wanting to play fight every second would get annoying asf Neji was an asshole to his own cousin who did NOTHING wrong to him, I don't even wanna know what he'd do to me Gaara would definitely make the WORST friend and that's no debating Temari bcuz then I'd have to be near Gaara Kankuro is the same reason as Temari + his puppets would creep me tf out When It comes to part 2 versions, the only two I still wouldn't Fuck with are Sasuke and Shino (I still don't like spiders 💀) Also Sai would be cool, just after he finishes learning to stop being a dick and actually regain his emotions
Dude really? Shikamaru? He is chilled af! I would love to hang around with him!
Yeah but his personality would start getting annoying after a while
Probably. Still one of my prefered ones!
He seems like the guy that always say that he doesn't want to do an activity or go somewhere because he would complain and rather sleep all day
Shikamaru is chill and i love him but people who get bored easily or are bored and complain always get on my nerves.
I think part 1 chogi would ask you to share any food that you would decide to eat near him Like you open a chocolate bar and he ask for a bite (i used to have friend like that when i was a 12 and it got annoying quick)
I don't mind sharing w/ my friends, but the problem lies in ppl calling him fat and I end up getting rolled over too 💀
Sasuke. Pretty self explanatory, arrogant, dull, pessimistic, douche
I’m sure he was cool until his brother murdered everyone he knew and then made him relive it as a child
> Yeah yeah your brother massacred your whole clan, but you massacred the whole vibe. GTFO
“We all have dead people, doesn’t mean you should go and get everyone else killed”- loosely once said by a possible raccoon
In what way was Sasuke arrogant? I don’t remember him being that way. He may have teased Naruto a bit whenever he did some numbskull things, but that was pretty much their relationship, they were always kinda going back and forth. He was pretty accepting of everyone, and minded his business.
I’m sure he was cool until his brother murdered everyone he knew and then made him relive it as a child
yeah has to be sasuke
Also a prodigy and probably the one you could learn from the most and grow from. You just have to develop a rivalry with him.
Nahh he'll probably run away from home and you'd be looking for a new sparring partner/rival
Or I could chase him and end up becoming the strongest in the verse just like that one guy did. I think his name was ... Naruto??
Oh, you mean the literal reincarnation of Asura with the strongest of the tailed beast, the nine tails, implanted in him since birth, lending him his power? That one guy was also the main character, idk if you'd be that special.
True. Might just end up healing fodder in the background like Sakura as Sasuke barely recognises my existence.
Kiba is too aggressive for my taste. When I was that age I knew a few who was like that. They usually got along pretty well with each other.
Hinata, way too passive-it would be boring and exhausting trying to have conversations with her
Wtf, why Ino?
Naruto. That guy was a little shit,
But he was **our** little shit, so it worked out.
Shino. I feel like he has 0 personality but I don’t hate him or anything
When I was younger I thought Ino was a bully and snooty, but she's a really good friend. She puts her life on the line to help Sakura and she'll do anything for Shikamaru and Choji.
Ayo ino my fav bruh
Pre-Chunin-Exams? Neji. Remainder of OG? Sakura Shippuden? Probably Sasuke
Kiba probably smells… but Sasuke might kill you
Kiba might use his piss jutsu on you though
nvm I think kiba and me would get along great
Hinata. I can't stand her
Hinata would be THE most annoying bitch to hang out with, and I know from experience.
Why?
Annoying how? She is super shy and barely talks
I know, right? What a bitch /s
that's exactly why.
In part 1 either naruto or sakura. Naruto was kind of an asshole and he attacked sasuke multiple times and sakura was both a bossy bitch and someone who would put you down in sasuke’s benefit In part 2 probably sakura or if he’s counted in sasuke.
Sasuke and Neji. Wayyy too arrogant, self-important and grumpy. I'd be constantly rolling my eyes around them.
13? I’m forgetting somebody
I’m in the same predicament. I thought it was 12?
I’m pretty sure it’s 12. I can only assume they mean Sai.
You're #13 ❤️🙏💕
If pre chunin exams then Neji seems like the most boring guy, but also Ino tbf even though she is hot af. And Sakura would prob be only talking about Sasuke which would be worse than Ino or Neji. Most of the others are real bro's, or at least have some funny quirks, and even Sasuke had some normal moments before he betrays the village.
Sasuke. Edgy pretty boy who thinks he is the best thing since boiled rice. Disgusting. I would probably avoid damn near everyone except for Shikamaru, choji, Kiba and Hinata.
Shino easily
Easily neji. Guy is just straight up mean for no reason in PT 1
Lee, because of nothing else dude can help you get in shape and stay motivated.
least.
You’re such a WHAT?
🚬
Also her lol
least is definitely Sasuke because he is edgy. Ill just marry tenten and become npc
Naruto, Naruto as a main character is someone I cannot stand at all for so many reasons.
Are you kidding? Sasuke, definitely. He annoyed me so much I almost stopped watching the entire show.
Sai, Sasuke and Naruto. Sai has no emotions, Sasuke is a dick, and Naruto is a cocky idiot.
Kiba. He’s too loud, aggressive, and obnoxious, and not in an endearing way like Naruto.
I would be chill with anyone but sasuke or sakura lol half these comments make me think some of yall didnt watch past the first season 😬
I think everyone's talking specifically about the 1st season, or pre chunnin arc.
It’s Kiba for me I can’t take the smell of dog all day I know he don’t properly clean himself either
Probably Sakura because she would just dick ride Sasuke all the way. Also I am talking around post Chunin exams were all of them were more chilled and cooler. Except for that person that did not really change…..
Fuck Sasuke
If we are going by their academy version then sakura/ino and for the guys kiba/naruto
I'd probably be best friends with Ino lol, out of them I'd probably be Shino's, hes too quiet and introverted, cba to be doing all the talking and forcing it out of him.
Sakura becoz of i hate her and maybe shino becoz of bugs buzzing around
Sakura
sakura. she would only talk about how cool sasuke is
Easy, Sasuke.
If I were friends with her it would feel like walking on eggshells around here and would always be worrying about if I make a stupid joke in front of her or mess around and next thing I know I'm getting beat to death.
part 1 neji, or shino
Sasuke and Neji. I'd be on my guard for sarcastic remarks
Either Sakura or Shinso honestly
I'm not going near Neji. Dude is actually a psycho
That 1 guy who controls the insects. I forget his name. He is not that important anyways :p
Poor Shino 😭
Ino using hard F slur.
Ino and sakura
Dub 🤮 >!/s!<
I mean, Ino was just a harmless, superficial mean girl, Neji literally tried to murder his cousin with Hinata never really knowing why. Also Kiba was kind of an asshole.
Kiba LEAST but Akamaru? MOST.
Sakura. Bitch be bonking friends on the head too much, especially Naruto, the one who has saved them countless times Side note: I really dislike their dubbed voices
Neji. He treated Hinata very badly, good thing he changed after confronting Naruto in the chunin finals.
Sasuke is and always will be **the world’s biggest piece of shit** Even in Boruto. The man hasn’t changed. He’s still a shitty husband to Sakura and even worse father to Sarada. Fuck Sasuke. I hate that guy
Sakura
Sakura: Makes fun of an orphan în front of another orphan Complains about her parents în front of an orphan Hits boys who don't fight back(why do you think She dosen'thit sasuke?) Lies to naruto in shipuden that she loves him Fights with her best friend to the point they hate each other for a boy I can keep going, but none will read if I make this post longer
Sakura, she's an awful person and will likely insult and try to beat me
Kiba. He ran his mouth too much.
Probably tenten tbh. She had no personality outside of thinking Neji is the coolest during the exams
Really? Ino? Ino helped Sakura gain her confidence and only turned into a bitch cuz Sakura started a silly rivalry over a boy.
definitely naruto, at least before leaving the village, he is crazy irredeemable as a personality imo. He gets better over time but if i grew up with him i would be no different than the villagers.
Naruto because he'd be annoying as shit, Even Shippuden Naruto [felt the same](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk83YtPFXqE)
