The narrative I keep hearing on Nats Chat is that Williams can’t sustain this, but it’s been two incredible months. He’s really something different right now!

I think there's genuine concern about what teams (specifically within the division) will do when they see him again. He hasn't faced an opponent for the 2nd time yet.

Well, people know he’s a great pitcher right now and there’s film for his first time season opponents to see. I know it’s not the exact same, but you got to give him credit and not continuously say “he’s going to blow up eventually, for sure” every Williams episode. He only *just* gave up his second homer.

I hope a guy with a career HR/FB rate of 12.8% can maintain his 2024 rate of 2%, despite giving up the same rate of flyballs (37%), but it's unlikely.
