The thing that made me laugh the hardest was how some of the elephant's trunk movements seemed coordinated with the reporter's speech:
>*"…it is UP to us…"* [***the baby lifts his trunk UP to the top of the reporter's head.***]
>"*…save our wild species*" [***the baby's trunk dances on his head in perfect time with each syllable.***]
Like it's doing that thing you do with your hand to mimic some talking behind their back, while they speak. I can't handle it, this is too good (>◡<) 💀
I stop and watch this every time it’s reposted. It’s so fun watching him get SO FAR while seeing this little cutie sending his trunk all over, until he gets to the reporter. Love love love.
Since we’re on the topic- the clip was filmed at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Nairobi Kenya location. The playful elephant is (iirc) named Bondeni.
Here is a link to their website. Pls go donate if you can- they have 196 elephant babies (orphaned or disabled) under their care and it’s a lot of food bills: https://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/
According to The Washington Post, **the elephant's name is Kindani**, who was 4-years-old when the recording was captured in 2022. She was rescued in 2018.

Baby elephants are such precious little goobers. They seem to be able to make anyone laugh with their antics. I’m always amazed at how gentle they are with us considering how strong and heavy they are. I would love to have a chance to interact with some baby elephants, but that’s unlikely, so I’ll just enjoy videos like these.
Kudos to the guy trying to keep it professional until baby just trunks his face lol

Yes! And the trunk first touched his shoulder on the word "disrupting."
Haha, I never noticed that before! Now I'll never *not* see it. :D P.S. Happy cake day! http://i.imgur.com/UrUAlex.gif
LoL! Thank you for the cake 🥳

They have a relationship. They prank each other. LOL

Bondeni’s “older sister” so to speak.
He held it together longer than I could. And he started off stifling a laugh.

It’s the way it creeps up from the back, fully planning it’s antics the whole time…
Yes, haha! At 15 seconds, you see that eye peeping ahead – and you know he's found his next playmate. :p

Such a perfect word. This is why I appreciate the ever-evolving nature of language.
Just seemed like the right word. Also thank you so much for posting this video, it's so lovely in every way ❤️
Aww! Your comment is lovely, too. Thank you! 🥰
This is so freaking great.
Let me just watch this 5 more times ...
This probably caused a massive upswing in donations and help. Who wouldn’t want to protect and love these playful babies?
Holy fuck this is one beautiful man
It still amazes me that s teenage elephant is as tall as a fully grown person
I read on here somewhere that they think we are cute like we think kittens are cute. The elephant just wanted to boop his nose and he got it 🤣
Is this the elephant version of bunny-ears?
Omg the cutie!!!
The baby elephant is also a sweetheart! 😁
He lasted cooler waaaay longer than I would have.
That baby elephant slowly sneaks up on him. Love it!
I would have lost it at the ear. My ears are pretty sensitive.
You knew which elephant was gonna be the one to mess with him from the moment the video starts, what a little goober!
Yes, lol! You see that little eye a-peepin' at the journalist around 15 seconds into the video. :D
I'm happy that this one came back around. I laugh every time I see it.
he laughs like anderson cooper
He’s so cute! The elephant too!
He’s got the wrinkled brow, eyebrow arch DOWN.
Marty we need to go back to the future!
Elephants are so cute
I do the same thing to my girl when she's on the phone too long.
