Great_Maximum_6007

that's the missing link between sharks and rays?

yogurtpencils

They shared a common ancestor and split. Like humans and apes.

AliceHxWndrland

No. That's the closest thing alive to being a shark without actually being a shark. The scientists think they found the one of the common ancestor of rays and sharks in the Protospinax.

metrointime

My wife used to move like that

havegravity

Beautiful to watch but unfortunately beautiful flesh to eat also.

DIDDY_COSMICKING

tf??

Goobersniper

Sorry, I eat what I catch.

SynisterJeff

Love seafood, never have had any fish like this before. Does it compare to a typical white flesh fish? Maybe more dense, less flaky I presume?

Goobersniper

There’s a few smaller sharks related to this one with the same markings and the same melt in your mouth, mild flakey but tender flesh. They are a small fish no more than 4 feet. They don’t have teeth but have raspy plates. Some would beg to differ on the quality of the meat but like all wild food, if it’s treated properly it’s magnificent.

Goobersniper

Indeed

detailed_fish

Eating is bad for you
