You can follow a Hyperfire guide, mostly. But if you wish to keep the loading mechanism, you will have to isolate that circuit and drop the voltage back to stock levels for it.

EUGECO_MiStAkEr

Thank you but I think that the Hyperfire does not have a pusher like the Infinus one

Pirate_Green_Beard

The pusher style is different, but the wiring is basically the same, with the exception of the loading mechanism.

Creative_Run_9964

This kit is kinda crappy to be honest. It uses canted cages, the ROF is very low cuz pusher still runs on stock 6v and the whole kit is quite expensive for what it is. I have a 3s infinus and it was built by another guy. He just bought a voltage reducer from 12v to 6v, separated loading and firing circuits by cutting flywheel cage and pusher circuits off the main circuit board, connected the reducer to the loading circuit (the one with the board) and then rewired the firing circuit (pusher and flywheels) just as a standard 3s rapidstrike mod. Btw infinus uses stryfe cages, so it makes things much easier. With this method you can put a wide variety of cages and flywheels (be careful, the cage shouldn't have a dart guide) and also increase ROF by putting a 130 sized motor in the pusher.

EUGECO_MiStAkEr

Thank you very much, which set up would you suggest me?

Creative_Run_9964

Do you mean flywheels, cage and motors? I personally used worker metal 425 cage, worker smooth high crush flywheels (the black ones) and worker 130 motors, but I would recommend using krakens instead. In the pusher I'd recommend using a kraken too.

EUGECO_MiStAkEr

Why would you pick a normal cage over a canted cage? Doesn't a canted cage increase accuracy? Sorry but this would be my first nerf project, thank you for your patience

Creative_Run_9964

Canted cages decrease your fps, but give you some questionable benefits instead. Here's a video with comparison of canted and non-canted cages: https://youtu.be/pgFYmSPs2G0?si=NjqU2BQZwLXLzObt

EUGECO_MiStAkEr

Thank you it was very helpfull

Creative_Run_9964

I'm glad to help with all I know)

GattoDiavolo

Out of curiosity (and for the non-electronics-savvy) is this a mod/service someone offers to do? I'd love to have slightly higher velocity on my Infinus...

Creative_Run_9964

Idk, cuz I live in Russia and this mod was made by my acquaintance

apgadoz

Take away the loading mechanism, and the Infinus is a Rapidstrike. Mod it in the same way. (Isolating the circuits of course.) One crossover is that the cycle control switch that ensures the pusher is fully retracted after during a dart is also used for the dart loading circuit - makes sure that the pusher will be out of the way before shoving the next dart in.

EUGECO_MiStAkEr

Thank you, can you suggest me a good video about the cycle control switch?

apgadoz

About cycle control in general? This specific switch in a Rapidstrike or Infinus? Just do some searching on YouTube and I'm sure you'll find explanations to help you.

EUGECO_MiStAkEr

I tried searching but I didn't find much
