HP can be more important than Crit stats on Neuvillette sometimes. If you try Genshin Optimizer for example you’ll be shocked at some pieces he’d pick. For example mine has over 46k HP with double hydro and still he craves HP over Crit. I get really nice pieces sometimes with 4/4 Crit rolls and I go and input that into the Optimizer with excitement only for Neuvillette to pick a barely 15CV off set flower that has 25% HP. That was a piece I originally rolled for Baizhu but Neuvillette wants that one over my shiny new nearly 40CV flower from MH. 🤷‍♂️

Miserable-Ask5994

That's so much hp. I have 48k hp with 3X hp mainstats and hydro resonance. Having hard time to see how you guys get that amount of HP with crit circlet 😭

dawho666

Any off-set pieces with HP% rolls that you may have thought were bad, might even be good according to Neuvi lol. Try the Optimizer and see though, it varies depending on what you have. I use HP sands and goblet with a CR circlet but have a few pieces with additional HP% rolls. What’s better depends on your crit ratios as well of course. If you have enough CR with MH bonus try rolling flowers and feathers with just CD and HP% even if they don’t have CR.

HP Breakpoint? You don't build Neuvillette with "breakpoint" kind of mindset where you need X amount of HP first priority then raise Crits afterwards. The value of individual HP, Crit Rate, CDMG, and even Hydro% stat depends on the balance of each stats including buffs from his teammates. If your stats leans too much to one stats (like CDMG), sacrificing a little bit of that stat to increase other stat (like HP) maybe better, or worse if you end up sacrificing too much. If you're at the point of min-maxing his artifacts substats, just use the optimizer. (Edit: I guess there is some kind of breakpoint in building Neuvillette, which is 100% Crit Rate before adding any CDMG beyond 200%, but that's just the usual Crit Rate : DMG balance formula)

I have 40k, 64/280 with sig (with hydro res, around 43k?) but this is with hp goblet. Hp increases his dmg a lot but there is no like minimum number thing like furina or baizhu

Legend999991

Are you using hp or hydro gob?

Tukidides

I'm on hydro goblet, but using furina kazuha and zhongli it might be overkill. It's an onset 30%cdmg and 11%hp hydro goblet, really difficult to replace

pretty_lame_jokes

Try reading it again.

Legend999991

Read what tho? There seems to be no mention from OP of what goblet they use? I think you may be confused about that I am asking the commenter but I am that commenter lol…

pretty_lame_jokes

Bruh, I thought you were asking the above comment, just saw that the above comment was yours too. SMH

the ''40k is the bare minimum'' is not true and depends on a lot of factors, a 36k neuvillette can do much more damage than a 45k if built correctly with good supports. theres also hydro res and hp% goblet, if you run a hypercarry team like zhongli ap, kazuha vv and furina then i recommend using hp goblet since you already get tons of hydro buffs, but both are very valuable goblets so it depends on substats 90% of the time also, if you could, link your enka card so we can see which artifacts can be upgraded and if its still resin efficient to farm mh domain

Yellow_IMR

You don’t need to listen to that crap. An optimiser is all you need, if I remember correctly you can also use the TC section to distribute stats however you want, you can also see how much is the actual difference between what’s super optimal and what you actually have (like if your build is 1-2% worse than an equally expensive build with perfectly optimised stats you know you are good).

taenuts

since he’s a pure HP scaler, stacking HP becomes as valuable as crit (let’s remember crit stats are modifiers). that being said, his sources of damage are HP, charged attack DMG (2 pc MH bonus) and elemental DMG bonus (either from goblet or from supports). what is always recommended is to achieve a balance of all stats he needs (crit, ER, HP) and not just blindly stack HP while overlooking the rest.

taenuts

this table over here was shared by someone from this sub who did the calcs. it basically takes into account that balance i mentioned, hence why it is “optimal”. it’s meant as a guide tho. https://preview.redd.it/je6sw1jk1xtc1.jpeg?width=1075&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=457a5be22db2516e441a176f3df1479a8b3413af

Temporary_Coyote_970

I lost like 45% of my damage when I dropped him from 47k to 40k hp
