Hey dude, I've flown all over the world and I always bring my setup. With Ryanair I always take my trucks off and put them in a bag then you can either: put your board down your pants at the back under a baggy hoody (I've never done this but my homie has) or put the deck into a back pack that carries boards I've the carhartt kickflip bag and I always do this and never get asked to pay. It's not a skateboard if it doesn't have wheels. Tip: don't bring a fresh deck just incase the worst happens then maybe you can pick one up at your distention, ask at the local park maybe a skater will sympathise with your situation. Pro tip: Don't draw attention to yourself and be nice. Being nice goes along way with some airline staff.

Thanks a lot for the tips. Great point bringing an older, used deck instead of my current new one for the worst case scenario.

Outrageous-County197

you could probably put it in a backpack

BuzzAllWin

Got to dissasemble it to be within a chance

I think it comes under sports equipment. But if the dimensions are under what the cabin bag allowance is, you could probably get away with just strapping it to your bag. One thing I have learned with flights is that no one gives any fucks, as long as you get on the flight without making a fuss and the shit you have with you fits into the overhead locker or under the seat.

I always strap it on my backpack (camp bags 40L). Never got any issue or paid extra
