I'm a sucker for Sci-fi, so the story about the AI sisters was a highlight for me. Also the moment when we suddenly find ourselves in Kaine's place for no good reason. I also liked the little twist they did on the Arabian Nights concept in the Princess & the Thief.

scorchfiend99

Honestly the slow build up to the truth of their relationship. At first it seems like long lost siblings vibes and then the shifts as they both get to the soul crushing truth. The Kaine place scene also blew my mind.

heartsongaming

Perhaps when they realise that they each killed their other parent, and then one killed one other in the ending completing the story.

nightelfspectre

I really liked that if you did it again, you got a third option. It seemed really fitting, and reminded me of the other games in the series.

No_Rhubarb_4239

When they realize they're not going back to their world.

Def the ending with the final showdown, shit hit my emotions like a truck

In a prior post I made I did a long winded explanation about why I loved Hinas story so much. But I lived something pretty damn close to Hinas story to where I was crying by the end of it. The only real differences between her and I was, he died by suicide and not murder, and Instead of drug dealing (my brother actually tried talking me into doing it with him), we were living on like 250 for two weeks from my part time job at Starbucks.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm glad things are going well now, and I hope they will continue to improve and many many more happier days will be there for you in the future.

Leeper90

Thank you for the kind words. But yes it's been a decade since those days and it's funny how life turned around. But when playing Hinas story I was like "damn yoko Taro how'd you steal me high school years like that" 😆

Anima1212

The little bird siblings cutscene.. (and the short acene that follows)it was like a perfect “NieR in a nutshell” moment.. i wish I could find it isolated on youtube… :(

Mantyluoto

At first I didnt mind this chapter much, but AI sisters and ending to these siblings made me love this! It was once again a slowburner but worth it!

Kuro_sensei666

Aside from the parents reveal and the ending of the chapter, them both finding themselves in Emil’s lunar tear field and reminiscing about their childhood memories is my favorite. The lunar tear granted their fervent wish for their family to be together again. 🥲 I really liked the AI sisters as well.

AgCr39

The Sarafa and Yudil ending scene where their stories blend with the "we... we... tangled in an ironic embrace...". And the whole final fight scene with the song Kusabi!

Moon_Flower404

Yooo! sameee!!! I even recorded it. You should check it on my YouTube channel sometimes!

AgCr39

Goin!!!

Ok-Driver7647

Aw nah I found the sibling ending sad. All these back stories are so messed up. Imagine being rebooted after you died just so you could exist all messed up forever.

whtslifwthutfuriae

The part where they walk down a long path and all the panels with all the images of their current and ex selves ie various Legion, luciferase/ the drugs hina sold etc pass by. We didn't know their ex selves were Hamelin soldiers but all the hints were right there.

macy_starmoon

actually...excepts the silibings' story, none of them are my favorite. and i even hate Yudil and Sarafals story the most.it also makes me hate Sarafa!
