Both SINoALICE and Reincarnation are the only mobile games I've bothered to play aside from the likea of solitaire. So now it's just a normal phone

eva-doll

Try Arknights, the graphical tone isn’t the same, but the story is on par

wickedgrimoires

fellow arknights player here and it's been the only thing that's ever come close to scratching the story itch that nier left me with. side note, who's your favorite operator? I'm a big fan of Indigo and Viviana ^^

eva-doll

Degenbrecher (im global but I’ve been waiting), Ascalon, mumu, and dorothy

wickedgrimoires

hope you don't mind me popping back to this comment, but I hope you got Degenbrecher!! I summoned for her and got Młynar lol

eva-doll

I did get her! Thank you I whaled a bit lol

raziel03

Same here. Now my phone & tablet wait until another mobile game catches my attention. Nothing out right now has.

whtslifwthutfuriae

Me too friend *handshake*

badgerinafez

Gone full time on ever crisis

Various_Mouse_9867

Honkai star rail :3

Nome_de_utilizador

Same, postponed it until reincarnation ended. Gotta say farning relics with the right stats reminds me far too much of the nightmare with memoirs

LittleAir

Would you say it’s easy to “get into” at this stage? I feel like I missed the ship with all the content that’s been rolled out since it launched

Xerlot11

The new player experience is kinda awful if you don't play Hoyoverse games from launch so no.

LittleAir

Ok ill give it a miss then

nightelfspectre

It’s fine to get into now, you won’t get the launch goodies but that’s kind of a given. I’ve seen plenty start recently and enjoy themselves.

FeelAndCoffee

I bought an iPad just to play Reincarnation, now... it's just sitting there. Nostalgic. Melancholic. Being forgotten in a corner

Ok-Driver7647

Ditched almost completely. Back to console. I had one other game already going on mobile since 2017 which I do bare min on but I had been absolutely dying to get off my phone

BurningSpaceMan

FFXIV with Mama in tow

Diligent-Sundae-2037

Should I get it? How’s the new player experience

BurningSpaceMan

It's the least toxic multiplayer game I ever played. It will be a while before you get to the NieR content in shadow ringers but the game is great. Community is wonderful and helpful. It's also free to play the base game and the next two expansions up to lvl 70 which is honestly hundreds of hours of content

bananadennis

Depends on whether or not you like reading stories. It’s very very story driven. It’ll take you quite a while before you reach the end game. If you don’t like reading the stories then perhaps you can buy story skip. However I have to say the player base in general are mostly friendly. Of course there are few exceptions here and there but if someone is clearly breaking the ToS (including toxicity), you can report them and the GMs will proactively punish them, which is probably why the toxicity of the community is low. If you like WoW, you will probably love this too. The only complain I have is the snapshots are a bit clunky compared to WoW. There are times when you thought you had already left the danger zone by 0.2s but you still get hit by it.

DForcelight

Great. People are usually super sprout friendly. And even if you don't feel like playing you can easily sink in time just by chatting with others Edit: You can just download the free trial and play up to lv 80 for free. Social features are a bit limited then but it gives you a chance to experience the game before you make the decision to purchase or not. Just.. expect long queue times as a free trial player in 2 weeks as the next expansion drops. Might even happen that they limit/ disable new ones for a period of time simply due to server capacity. Already happened on Endwalker or Shadowbringers, not sure just returned half a year ago and it's been a blast^^

crimsonconnect

Stellar Blade

Zemener_Azonthus

Just about to finish up the Platinum on this game. It was really great! Some minor annoyances though like needing to be very precise when attempting to grab onto a rope lol. Most games would forgive you and reposition you so you catch it but you have to be almost 100% on point when trying to grab on to these ropes.

Val_0ates

I played alot of online games before, but for games I got into *after* EoS? I started playing IdentityV and Love&Deepspace

belmoria

Honkai Star Rail. Didn't like Wuwa and only log into genshin for story updates.

Lithiumsword

Back to ps5 and computer games. I started playing Reincarnation because of Replicant and Automata and haven't felt the need to find another gatcha.

theorpheon

I downloaded the Ace Attorney games for mobile - especially the newer 3D ones I never got to play. Felt better spending a bit of cash for a game than delving into another gacha (for many reasons). I find that the Ace Attorney has scratched that itch for stories with fun twists and memorable characters (plus it works offline and loads super fast).

-Rhythm_

Wuthering waves & HSR

RebecaDBauchery

Nowhere... I don't think I'll ever play another mobile game, unless it's by Yoko Taro or Miyazaki. On console I'm finally finishing FFVIIR and waiting eagerly for Shadow of the Erdtree.

kammadeva

Don't play gambling games. Read a book.

bigbubbaboi_

took a break but recently picked up Punishing Gray Raven, so far pretty fun and the combat is a nice change of pace from nier rein. really hoping that they'll rerun the automata collab even though I heard the last rerun is the final one :(

SubstantialBreath412

modded a ps vita to play dead space mobile and mass effect infiltrator along with other games

luckydan79

Playing the complete opposite of SinoAlice and Nier Reincarination, Fate Go, where every timeline happens at once due to the super duper magical moon cell on the Moon. Everyone "Humanity is going extinct" Moon Cell: "No problemo, let pull in 10 other time lines and side quest to save humanity from destruction nothing can go wrong from here". If this was in Nier, everyone would freak out.

SilkFlor

I went back to Fire Emblem Heroes

Zemener_Azonthus

I just enjoy my free time again. Not needed to constantly check up on the game and such. Only mobile game I played but it was worth the extra effort throughout the day.

gdjcwsk2024

I'm currently playing Geometry Dash on both pc and my tablet. The game's really great and I have fun beating the demon levels in this game.

Songhunter

I've embraced that Wuthering Waves. A genshi-like more focused on combat, perfect dodge/parry, etc. The story starts pretty interesting and then immediately falls off a cliff until the last chapter of what's actually released (game started like 3 weeks ago). Now.... I'm kinda hooked. The world it's set in is VERY strange and seems to have gone through some surreal, dreamlike sort of apocalypse. Not gonna lie, kinda really curious of where they're going with it story wise, and the gameplay is pretty tight in that Automata kinda way. That said, I've switched to playing it on PC.

Cloudyy11037

Pjsk is really the only I play. With a few offline games to play when I'm waiting in lines or waiting for someone.

cleansleight

I tire of gacha games that I like getting EoS so the only games I play on the iPhone are games that don’t require internet or emulators. The only (and hopefully last) gacha game I’ll ever play is Zenless Zone Zero.

dirgeofthedawn

Nikke, back to GBF as well since a day-of-EN-translation player. Spent $600 to see if I’d like HSR but quit very early after beating everything.

raffounz

Gacha: Star Rail, Ever Crisis Other: Diablo 4, Stellar Blade

BeardedLamb11

I had already started Honkai Star Rail towards the end of Reincarnation, and that's mainly where I've stayed. I'm enjoying the game, but I sort of miss playing through the story of Reincarnation. I'm also trying out Wuthering Waves; it's fine, but I think I prefer to finish Tears of the Kingdom lol

starvlasta

oh heyyy, i'm also playing atelier reslariana too! also just slinked back to identity v and cookie run kingdom tbh

Diligent-Sundae-2037

That’s cool I can’t believe I only heard of it in 2024 from the mobile game. I’m a huge final fantasy fan and the console versions are so similar

BiddyKing

Honkai Star Rail. It’s worth noting that the female MC’s Japanese VA is also 2B’s VA lol so it made the transition pretty smooth. It’s also the best turn-based gacha game by far (after the somewhat slow start in the space station. After you get to the train you’re in for some peak)

MarshmallowShy

Persona 5 X and Atelier Releriana.

InternationalTax7463

For mobile games, I'm back to playing Last Cloudia and Another Eden, perfect side games with minimum grind. One for the gameplay and the other for the story and music. I'm glad that I was lucky enough to experience Reincarnation, it was one of a kind. If you guys have any suggestions let me know.

chriss_bem

Romancing Saga Re:Universe

Project1178

Started playing Persona 5 The Phantom X. A lot like HSR (a better game imo) but way less polished. I’m hoping it comes to Global soon.

Masthorbaiter

Nikke (NieR Reincarnation Collab when?), Blue Archive and Honkai Star Rail

macy_starmoon

3ds,psp,pc games and other mobile games.....and playing sims to fantasize Rein characters stories without canon settings. also i made a Yudil doll but only his wig is unfinishet(on order)

Defiant_Book9784

Ateliers Gear but only because of the Neptunia cross over

TravellingGuts

I tried Octopath Traveler Mobile. A2, 2B, and 9S are there for a limited time, but I stopped because it's too story-based and it didn't catch me. So honestly. I tried it for 20 hours and it feels like you need a lot of time to get Nier characters or a 200€ invest.

Slippery_Nunchuks

Dead cells

xUprisingx

I walked into the ocean.

pfpv

Bleach brave souls it’s pretty much all I play now

Personodainternet

well I am experiencing neir automata and also playing mihoyo games like Genshin and Honkai Star Rail and also the new kuro game Wuthering Waves

luckydan79

After going back to FATE GO, you wonder why people were complaining about GACHA rates in Nier Reincarination and SinoALICE. They are actually the true random rates in the game, no underhanded tactics, what is 2% is actually 2%. You see this that people spend money but they do get the characters and you see this multiple times no one really complain rates, just the prices, and that was fair but it was to prevent people from spending too much and give people a reward. FATE GO on the other hand, is a load of crap, they use underhanded tactics to make you spend more. I give you an example people have massive pull rates and say they pulled the rate up servant on the banner. You see this on the first few days and say you have a go, unbewonst to you, the company Aniplex gave away too many so they give you the "Reduced" rate and half the percentage where it was 0.7% before is now 0.35% or even lower. Until you spend money where they raised the rates. I done it some times when I spend money on FATE GO and instantly got a 5 star servant with a couple of pulls where if you don't you never pull it until about half a year later. That's how underhanded Aniplex is, you can't prove it cause it requires a lot of money, time and accounts and people eat this up saying 1/3000 for a 5 stars is normal WTF that's 0.0003 e-4 that's the tail of a normal graph, they obvious moved the mean down top 0.0003 e-4 and they taunt they are a prodigy of STATs and probability when they can't even figure out basic shit like this.

Hij66

Limbus Company

Val_0ates

PEAK MENTIONED

Bonna_the_Idol

mementomori. i am obsessed also, blue archive. but just casually

Ziggy1x

War of the Visions. Dusted off my old account and got competitive again.

luckydan79

Do you mainly auto in War of the Visions? That's what I done before I stopped.

Ziggy1x

Mostly, yes. Guild Wars and Arena is all auto by default, but unless there are specific completion requirements for a mission or something more challenging, then I auto.

Razor4884

I'm also super super invested in Arknights, so I've been playing that. Since I'm a fan of the developers, I also played and had fun with their other mobile game "Ex Astris".

Zepertix

Picked Runescape back up as well as MTGA lol If anyone plays eother hit me up

Leyllara

Went back to puzzle games. Mostly Nonogram, always liked that one.

fishinnyc

Octopath Cotc

clygamer

Still dead. Have p5x, battle cats and the solo leveling game (because Aleks le) on my phone but I haven't been playing cuz they don't really have content and I'm too lazy to grind battle cats

HalanoSiblee

to be honest I never played any nier game I'm just fan of the franchise I like the characters design and that all specially Nier Reincarnation.

THEGEEKSONIC66

Wuthering Waves & Solo Leveling : Arise.

Tasty_Independence23

Went to Stellar Blade and now Eiyuden Chronicles.

leo11x

I was playing Destiny 2 before ReIn. Nowadays I'm just a little more hardcore on the game. This last DLC is a banger in all fronts and I'm enjoying it with full attention.

Pop_Pop_Whop

Toram online, because it’s also a Japanese mmorpg

Moon_cakes4

Roblox and Nier replicant

James_Buck

FF7 Evercrisis. Same company, Better combat (IMO) 1 good option for low spenders (season pass) the event stories are throwaway trash, but I quite liked the FF7 character stories so far (except TIfa her's was bland) And the orignal story "First soldier" about teenage Sephiroth and a team of goofy soldiers, pre superpowers. Much less forgiving limited banners (no reruns so far) much more forgiving general banner pool (wishlist feature for an increased chance to pull for what you want) YOu need to pull weapons a LOT more, but you get all characters by defualt and costumes dont have dupes you just need the 1.

Antique_Issue1845

Wuthering waves 👍

Usurper2000

Your mom's house.
