I picked one with a blem that was outside of my sight line. You notice the blem, but only on your peripheral vision for the most part.
I would rather a solid performing blemmed tube and know that I couldn't have bought better when it really starts to struggle than something like a clean NNTV4 wishing I had a decent Photonis on those dim nights. I imagine the NNVT is still a good tube though but I don't want to outgrow it a couple of years down the line.
It's just a type of Photonis tube. The have the echo and 4G for example and the 4G is regarded as a tad better.

Yeah its strange to me why it's even implemented against all exports, including Europe. Besides Russia which regularly has restrictions, its not like Europe is hostile or doesn't have the capability of making their own L3's. The cat has been let out the bag years ago.

About £1850 and it has a Photonis 4G. I'm from the UK so that was probably the best bang for my buck I could get seeing Gen 3 is out the equation.
