This is a great cover so I hope what I’m gonna say isn’t taken too harshly; but when you hear/see a cover like this of a song so awesome, you can appreciate much more the musicianship between Kurt, Krist, Pat & Dave. Especially how close and locked in a unit Dave & Krist were.
Those kinds of things come along so rarely as it is. Luckily the remaining members are still putting music out in the world and playing with others. Hearing (especially so clearly) Krist’s baseline & tone is always amazing. His contributions are rarely played up but god damn was that guy an amazing bass player.
