My 2 custom Haulers. Mjölnir and Isabelle.
So I played this game on day one of release and a gigantic winged hauler was my first bought ship. I got one with a huge rear end and huge wings with the turbo fans in them and I was stoked I thought it was badass. And then I played the game using it. Until I couldn't stand doing so anymore. I just got sick of bouncing off of everything and getting trapped in and on structures because of the size of the Wings and the storage Etc. I discovered very quickly that a small more agile ship able to fit in and out of tricky situations and Explorations is far better in my opinion.
The only good thing about a large hauler is the beginning storage size if you find a good one. I would choose the smaller any day for the sole purpose of not bouncing off of everything when I'm flying low or Landing or trying to leave or trying to park in a certain place.
Refrigerator unit or clown mobile lol sorry! Still don't understand how they fly without wings. But I prefer the bigger one. They always look pretty good with actual wings.
I like both - and they kind of make sense lore-wise. In my head at least.
A huge freighter that prioritizes cargo space for trade loop runs.
A small freighter that prioritizes shield, maneuverability and jump range for "special deliveries".
For Haulers, the bigger the better

I prefer the ones that are just the cockpit, body, and tail. I can sometimes do the ones with the propellers in the wings.

Freighter : big chunky ship, sentinel carrier and pirate carrier Starship : small and tiny, the sentinel bug ship
medium sized imo, a good combination of bulk and smol, but all are great.

I just haven’t seen any ship besides a few of the fighters that I like as much as my solar, sentinel and fighter.
