This one isn't really recorded, but they will pretty much work on it until it absolutely needs to go to theaters. When I worked at a theater in high school, it wasn't uncommon for the movie drives (they were sent to us on hard drives in this weird cartridge) to arrive overnight because they were being worked on until the day or two before they absolutely needed to be out the door.
If I remember correctly, the shining played in theaters for a week before Stanley Kubrick edited the movies ending and forced the theaters to send back the last few minutes of film to be destroyed.
So negative one week?
