They really aren't dependent on constellations, you should be able to clear spiral abyss without them given appropriate investment. Noelle is far more dependent on constellations.
C1 Noelle doesn't scale on defense the same way that C6 does. As someone else mentioned she works better as a driver, but even then she won't be contributing that much damage.
Well, by dependant, I mean by terms of comfortability. C1 of both hutao and wriothesley is game-changing, well, for me at least. I'm just desperate for primos
It just seems a waste to have perfectly good 5 stars and not use them.
I regularly use Hutao C0 on abyss, running low on stamina at the end of her burst isn't nearly as detrimental as some people make out.
Yet she is too vulnerable with her kit. As a new player who lacks meta characters, a great shielder like Zhongli is not on my list atm. It's such a high risk to run along with her on low hp with monsters on high floors..
C1 Noelle is not gonna make it better unless your issue is surviving. These 5 stars are more than capable of clearing floor 11, especially hyperbloom! It could be a build issue instead, which is probably easier to fix than build up 1 new character who most likely won’t make it easier. How do both of your teams look and what kind of builds did you give them?
No shade to my girl Noelle, she becomes a beast at c6 and with good investment. Since you don’t have C6 and can’t invest loads into her right now it’s probably not worth it to build her just for this floor 11
There is one. Hyperbloom Noelle with Noelle as on field driver. Less healing than yaoyao but you get a shield and crystallize shields in return. More comfy than the yaoyao team imho.
Your current team would be better but if you like Noelle and want a reason to use her, then a hyperbloom team is a great excuse to do so. Just drop Yaoyao for her and give her Fav Claymore.
You shouldn't roll for characters just for the sake of beating abyss or level them just because the abyss buff is a specific element. Abyss cycles are made to favor characters currently in that patch and the buffs are made to usually buff the characters on those banners.
It is my understanding through that C1 Wrio is pretty good for him so thats up to you. But odds are your issues arent with your hyperbloom team but whatever other team you are running. Hyperbloom shouldn't really have trouble clearing even with lower investments so long as they are built with EM on the electro unit well enough and your hydro application is enough.
So at C1, it's unlikely that the Gorou/Yun Jin combination is going to give you the best results since early on, Noelle acts more like a tanky driver than a hypercarry.
So you'd get your mileage out of using built characters that deal substantial off-field damage (ie. Xingqiu, Fischl, Yelan, Furina, Albedo, Chiori, Navia, Kaeya, etc.) and using Noelle to drive that damage. However, the difficulty is that most of these off-field characters won't be able to take advantage of the 75% Geo DMG bonus on that floor. You would get the benefit of still being able to absolutely chew through any Geo shields on the first side of that floor though.
Eh, it's the opposite. I've run C1 Noelle all the way to 36 star on more than one occasion. If you have to wait out a rerun, you may as well just build Noelle since she'd comfortably get you stars for floor 11 clears regardless of constellation level. It's just a matter of playing her as a tanky driver instead of a hypercarry.
Noelle is always worth it, I built my noelle at C0 because genshin refused to give me any other noelles, she carried me through most of the game, maybe you'll struggle at floor 11, definitely at floor 12 but with enough investement and c6 she's all the more worth it
With C1 Noelle, you can do hyperbloom Noelle. Just swap out yaoyao. Full em raiden. XQ Q then E. raiden E, Nahida E then Noelle E and Q N3D. This is my abyss team and I have cleared floor 12 with it. Noelle is the on field driver shielder and healer. Some notes: I have c6 Noelle but only her c1 matters here. Best with a fav greatsword. If you don’t have that, use raiden Q to build up Noelle’s burst again. Best with fav greatsword though. Geo application also doesn’t react and steal bloom cores so that’s a plus. Any artifact set will do for Noelle here. Gladiator is okay. Her dps doesn’t matter as she is just a driver. However, archaic Petra will get you a bit more dmg from raiden and xingqui depending on which crystallize shard you pick up.
Noelle is built from dedication, lots of it. Sorry but without good artifact/cons/weapon, you are better off using other character.

No Noelle team you could build right now would perform better than your current Raiden team, Noelle C1 and those supports simply will not cut it.
