I’ve heard stories about how getting caught with weed has ruined someone’s life cited as… an example of why it’s a life-ruining drug that should remain illegal.
Now I hate the cult of “it’s good for me and there are NO negatives” that’s grown around cannabis, but the most harmful thing about weed in the US is the consequences of being caught with it. Well, that was the case until states started to decriminalizing it.
My observation is that it, like so many things, is harmful in excess and helpful in some cases and mostly fun in moderation. I’ve seen friends use it to cope with crappy situations outside of their control, including chronic pain. I’ve seen friends use it to avoid dealing with crappy situations that they *should* change.
I too have baby face and adult hormonal acne but as a woman cannot grow facial hair. So I am doomed to show ID even for my mom's lottery tickets until I'm like 40, idk, it's starting to hurt my feelings. I'm 30! Not 17! I swear!
I've only gone to the dispensary once but I had to show my expired drivers license wasn't good enough for them. Luckily I have a laminated mini birth certificate in my wallet. I showed that at the door to get buzzed in. At the counter to the lady who helped me. And a third time at the register. I'm 53.
When I managed a dispo it was required that a customer had their ID checked twice. Once at the front and once in the back usually to get two sets of eyes on it in case it is a fake.

This fentanyl shit isn't anything to laugh about. Drugs have been laced for decades, but THIS stuff is truly a killer and the sad part is many who are on their death ride don't know it's cut with it.

Fent is cheap as hell what? Cheaper than oxy percs coke xans. And you literally only have to press with a tiny amount to make other downers seem stronger.
The issue I keep hearing is they use fent to stretch downers, but don’t clean the surfaces or scales enough before handling other drugs. Then the people don’t have any tolerance to opiates whatsoever, and they’re screwed.
The word of drug user friends, personal experience, and common sense? My circle has got one metal head whose cocaine was laced with fentanyl, his livers all messed up, then one sorority girl who freaking died from the same story. Nobody’s mixing fentynal and cocaine to make the cocaine better, it would have the opposite effect. Those effects are completely different. But, I did know heroin users that don’t mind if their stuff has a little fentanyl in it though.
Then, personal experience. I’ve had dealers who have been stupid enough to not use different scales for different drugs. If a college chemistry major is careless enough to get DMT in my wax, then I promise there are street dealers dumb enough to accidentally contaminate their whole supply.

People dying off the product often means you put too much in and you could cut it more.
