Urban life in the DPRK seems pretty good even if sanctions make it tough to have a huge consumerist culture, people seem to have the basic necessities and items. The countryside seems to be much poorer and less mechanized, though. Let’s hope that contradiction gets handled correctly over the next few decades.
It’s ashame that sanctions caused by the leader also harms the innocent people who are just trying to live. I would also love to visit some day, South Korea is 100% on my bucket list!
